Carmen Electra showed off her prestigious fashion sense in a post gearing up for the 2022 New York Fashion Week.The model and former Baywatch actress, 49, took to Instagram last week where she showed off her gorgeous figure in a beautiful and stylish dress with a plunging neckline. The garment has black lace straps that run throughout it with silver patterns etched between the lines. The snap shows Carmen Electra at a past event for STYLE360, which maintains a huge presence at the annual New York Fashion Week.
Carmen Electra even captioned her photo with a nod to the event, which is hopefully returning in February of 2022 with in-person events after having much of its attendance waylaid by the COVID-19 pandemic. The model wrote that she was excited to return to “respecting designers” and “making them proud” by sitting right in the front row. You can see the photos below.
In addition to a photo of herself in the stunning black dress, Carmen Electra’s post also showed several celebrities attending the STYLE360 fashion show in the past at New York Fashion Week such as Kim Kardashian, Anna Wintour and Eva Longoria. She concluded her post with an image of the event’s catwalk, which only a front-row seat holder could have.
It makes sense that the star is currently promoting herself by rubbing elbows with some of Hollywood’s elite. Carmen Electra’s post about New York Fashion Week comes just days after she made headlines by teasing her fans that she may join the illustrious cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sending shockwaves throughout the Bravo reality TV community.
On Tuesday, Carmen Electra took to Instagram where she responded to a meme that someone had created speculating that she may join the cast as The Real host Garcelle Beauvais’ friend. She didn’t say anything other than “would be funnnn,” but it was more than enough to get people absolutely freaking out about the prospect of her joining the cast in the upcoming season. She even shared the meme on her own page and asked her followers what they thought of the idea.
So, whether there are any official talks to have Carmen Electra join The Real Housewives family, she certainly seems to be drumming up support for it on social media. As The New York Post notes, her past Hollywood marriage history certainly has her on par with some of the other Real Housewives stars.
Carmen Electra was previously married to NBA Hall-of-Famer Dennis Rodman after a quickie Las Vegas ceremony in 1998. In true Beverly Hills lady meets NBA player fashion, they were split by 1999. She went on to marry Jane’s Addiction lead guitarist, Dave Navarro in 2003. That’s where she got her first taste of the reality TV bug since most of their courtship and wedding planning aired on the 2004 MTV series “‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave.”
Despite the televised love story, Carmen Electra and Dave Navaro called it quits in 2006 and finalized their divorce in 2007. So, perhaps what she learned through that whole ordeal is that her real love is reality TV?
