Shailene Woodley has been stealing hearts for over a decade. Best known for leading the Divergent films, Woodley exploded into movies alongside George Clooney in the 2011 family drama The Descendants and opposite Miles Teller in the 2013 coming-of-age drama The Spectacular Now. The Twitter account @OnlyTheBest4You recently posted a new picture of Woodley, which captures her effortless and enduring beauty.

The photo, taken by photographer Deirdre Lewis, was featured in a cover story by fashion brand Net-a-Porter. The photo shows Woodley’s signature beachy hair relaxedly tied back as she lounges against a window sill. The bright, natural light reflects off the oversized white blouse draped around the actress as she eyes the camera.

In the interview, Shailene Woodley covered a lot of ground about her professional and personal life in recent years. In early 2022, the actress endured a split with her now ex-fiance, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers. The highly publicized end of the long scrutinized relationship came amidst filming for Woodley’s upcoming series, Three Women.

Three Women, based on a book of the same name by author Lisa Taddeo, examines female sexuality through case studies of three women in the United States. Shailene Woodley plays a fictional version of Taddeo in the series, which was shot in New York from October 2021 to May 2022. Woodley described that period as one of the darkest times of her life, but was thankful to have acting as an outlet for processing her feelings.

Shailene Woodley has spent much of her career as an activist and outspoken feminist. Her goal with Three Women was to tell an honest story about female empowerment. “Sometimes it’s frustrating, because a lot of the things that I read are all about women’s empowerment and feminism, but the way the stories are being told are actually not portraying women in an empowered way,” Woodley said. “To me, empowerment simply means truth, vulnerability, acknowledging the good and the bad, the pros, the cons, the ugly, the beauty.”

Three Women is already completed and was set to debut on Showtime, but the network dropped the show before it even premiered. As reported by Variety, the move came as part of a new strategy at Paramount, which will absorb Showtime’s streaming service into Paramount+. The shift in content strategy left Woodley’s entire series on the shelf.

The show is being shopped to other networks and gaining interest from buyers. With a star like Shailene Woodley at the forefront, Three Women should have no problem finding a new home on another platform. Woodley is no doubt optimistic, as her key to life moving forward is to not care what others think.

Shailene Woodley has been off Instagram for some time, citing mental health struggles related to celebrity as her reason for dumping the app. Though she may not be posting pictures on the social media platform, she is still posing for the camera, as her latest photos show. In addition to Three Women, Woodley has a number of upcoming projects on the way.

Shailene Woodley will appear alongside Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz in Ferrari, a biographical drama about the sports car entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari directed by Michael Mann. Woodley will also star in I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie’s next film, Dumb Money. Along with Paul Dano and Nick Offerman, the film will tell the story of the Reddit-fueled GameStop stock boom and the madness that ensued on Wall Street.

There have been ups and downs for Shailene Woodley in the past decade, but the actress has remained steadfast in her career and personal growth. Her resilient beauty is on full display in the new images from her shoot with Net-a-Porter, and with her slate of high-profile films on the way, this won’t be the last fans see of Shailene Woodley.
