Cara Delevingne is one of the world’s most prominent models turned actors, but shifting from one area of show business to another does not seem to have diminished her talents. In a photo set posted to the Suicide Squad star’s incredibly popular Instagram account (which has nearly 43 million followers as of right now), we see Cara Delevingne posing in a wide-open jacket with merely a bra beneath it. Considering that the actor is currently promoting her upcoming docuseries on human sexuality, it makes sense that she would be showing off a little of her own sex appeal.
Not that Cara Delevingne is being subtle about the docuseries, which is titled Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne and is a joint production of Hulu and the BBC. In fact, the caption to the post reads “Planet Sexx” (plus rocket ship and planet emojis); we will have to assume the extra X is a stylistic choice rather than a typo. As it is, other celebrities like Aubrey Plaza and Vanessa Hudgens threw their support for the film star and imminent documentarian’s sexy look because even celebrities like to see a hot picture or two.
The first picture in the set sees Cara Delevingne staring straight to camera, utilizing the classic model “no expression, mouth slightly open pose.” Her hair is long and honey blonde, tumbling down one shoulder and styled by Danielle Priano (who is very considerately tagged in the picture. Her makeup (done by Hung Vanngo) is dramatic, with her brilliant blue eyes surrounded by dusty pink mascara and pink-orange blush highlighting her incredibly high and sharp cheekbones.
Cara Delevingne is wearing a peach-colored tuxedo jacket with long, shawl-style lapels, with merely a small golden chain necklace and a vibrantly violet bra underneath. The next photo in the set reveals her to be wearing a pair of matching high-waisted trousers, as the Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets star stares back fiercely. If there is one thing that Cara Delevingne is a master of, it is the stern yet sexy glares so prized in the modeling world, and she is showing them in full here.
Cara Delevingne began her career as a child model and soon became a favorite for world-famous designers like Oscar de la Renta and Marc Jacobs, as well as high-fashion brands like Burberry, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabbana. She won Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in both 2012 and 2014 but recently has taken a hiatus from modeling and focused on her acting career.
Although Cara Delevingne’s performance as the Enchantress in 2016’s Suicide Squad was not favorably received, she has moved on to more critically well-regarded roles in shows like Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez and Carnival Row with Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom.
Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne is scheduled to be released in slightly different versions (because of all of the sex stuff) on both Hulu and the BBC later this year.
