See Ana De Armas Putting On Lipstick In Nothing But A Bathrobe
Ana de Armas posted a series of photos of herself on Instagram in just a robe and applying lipstick.
Ana de Armas became Hollywood’s sweetheart after capturing viewers’ hearts with her American breakout role in Rian Johnson’s 2019 murder mystery hit, Knives Out. De Armas next gathered attention for playing the most famous blonde actress in the world, Marylin Monroe, in 2022’s Blonde, a controversial role that nominated the actress for both an Academy Award for Best Actress and won her a Razzie for Worst Actress. The Blade Runner 2049 star has proven that she can slay both on and off the screen, such as in her latest Instagram post, where she looks absolutely stunning while applying her makeup in nothing but a robe.
In the first photo in the gallery of pictures, Ana de Armas gently applies a rose pink lipstick from Estee Lauder to her lips. Her long brunette hair tumbles over her bare shoulders while she wears an extremely comfortable-looking fluffy white robe. Her eye makeup is done in a simple but dramatic black winged liner.
The second and third photos in the gallery also show the actress applying the lipstick, capturing Ana de Armas from different elegant angles. The second photo features De Armas’s contagious smile while and the third photo goes for a more sultry appeal as she has switched out her winged eyeliner for a smokey eye. In the last photo, De Armas also shows off her long legs peaking out from the robe as she sits with them crossed in front of the mirror while touching up her lips.
The caption of the Instagram post tells Ana de Armas’s fans that the lipstick is called Pure Color, which the Estee Lauder Global Ambassador says is great for “every red carpet moment.”
Ana de Armas began acting in her home country of Cuba, where she became a prominent television star at 16 years old. At 18, De Armas moved to Spain, where her television career grew exponentially before she hired an American agent who convinced the actress to audition in Hollywood. At the age of 26, De Armas moved to Los Angeles and essentially had to start her successful acting career over from scratch while barely being able to speak any English.
Determined to build a successful career as a leading lady, Ana de Armas spent four months in a full-time school learning English while simultaneously auditioning for parts while phonetically sounding out the lines without fully understanding the meaning behind them. She got her first American role in Eli Roth’s erotic thriller Knock Knock (2015), in which she starred next to Keanu Reeves, who then helped De Armas get her next role, which was a Spanish-speaking lead part, in the movie Daughter of God, which the Matrix actor also acted in and produced. Unfortunately, executives of the movie demanded severe editing, which harshly reduced De Armas’s part, and changed the title to Exposed, released in 2016.
Fortunately, Ana de Armas would soon be cast in her break-out role as Marta Cabrera in Knives Out (2019), which would also lead to her controversial but critically acclaimed role as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde. Next, Ana de Armas has two upcoming projects in the works, including the spin-off of Keanu Reeves’ John Wick series, Ballerina. De Armas will also soon be seen in the Apple TV+ original film, Ghosted, in which she will star next to Chris Evans.
