Now that the holidays are over, the new year is starting, and everyone is over a week into their New Year’s Resolutions, but Brie Larson is looking back at her holiday vacation. The Captain Marvel actor shared a carousel of images that chronicled her time at home with family celebrating the holidays. While she is known for her posts that show off her hard-earned superhero physique, her newest post shows off how she is taking it easy with pajamas and a mimosa.

The first photo shows Brie Larson looking lovingly down at the newest member of her family, holding a small newborn and wearing a huge smile on her face. The actress is casually showing off her Swifty status as it is displaying the word, Karma, referencing the eleventh song on Taylor Swift’s tenth studio album. Last year, the Marvels actress released a video of her covering Taylor’s song, “Nothing New”, showing her talent for music.

The second image shows off a Christmas ornament of her in 1993, meaning she is four years old in her hometown of Sacramento, California. The photo is from five years before her film debut in 1998 in two episodes of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The tree in the picture the ornament holds looks like the exact same tree the ornament hangs on.

The third image showcases how relaxed she was when back home with the family, lounging in front of the tree wearing pink striped pants and a pink sweatshirt. She is also holding a mimosa, showing that her family has decided to go all out with the celebration of the holidays. Of course, one look out the window behind her, and you can see that her Christmas was a solid California holiday, with no snow and lots of sun.

Brie Larson as Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame

Brie Larson has had a three-decade-long career that was highlighted by her appearances in 13 Going on 30 with Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, and Judy Greer, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with Chris Evans and Michael Cera, and 21 Jump Street with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. She then landed on the big stage and became a household name when she picked up the lead role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe prequel movie, Captain Marvel, appearing again as the character in Avengers: Endgame. She has had a quiet few years since, appearing in Just Mercy with Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx and reprising her Captain Marvel role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Ms. Marvel

The most recent news involving Brie Larson sees her appearing in The Marvels this year with Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan. She is hoping for a better response to her Captain Marvel than she got with the first film, and there is also the possibility that she is passing the mantle off to Monica for the future. And, of course, she is also added to the cast for Fast X, joining the franchise in the newest installment and a spinoff, so she definitely deserves the relaxation.
