Guardians of the GalaxyYesterday we showed you that fantastic Guardians of the Galaxy poster that James Gunn shared on his Facebook page, the one that was patterned after a classic Star Wars one-sheet. As it turns out, that was just a drop in the proverbial bucket, and is one small piece of a much, much larger collection. It might still wind up being your favorite of the bunch, but there are a lot to choose from, and you should definitely spend a few minutes perusing this massive collection of posters.

These are all come from Blurppy and are part of their Poster Posse, which I have to admit, is a pretty awesome moniker. There is a huge variety of pieces in this collection, and they run the gamut from serious and slick to campy, totally absurd, and borderline genius.

Guardians of the GalaxyThis one captures that pulpy comic book feel from days gone by, from the art to the faux aging on the cover. You get the feeling you could pick this up for a quarter at a garage sale or out of a dusty old box at local thrift store.

Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the GalaxyYou get some of the whole gang, including Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel). These five, “a thief, two thugs, an assassin, and a maniac,” form the core of the unlikely band of heroes. Together they’ll have to tussle with all kinds of villains…

Guardians of the Galaxy…including Lee Pace’s Kree warrior Ronan the Accuser

Guardians of the Galaxy…and Thanos “The Mad Titan,” who we recently learned that Josh Brolin will play him in this movie, as well as in the ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the rumors, he only pops up for a scene in the first act of Guardians, but his presence will be more a looming kind of thing. He’s the kind of guy people speak about in hushed tones, just in case he happens to be standing behind you. Also, if the reports are true, he’ll figures to be a key part of Marvel’s plan moving forward.

Guardians of the GalaxyThen there is this Day-Glo explosion.

Guardians of the GalaxyI don’t know that I can call this one my favorite, but this headphone silhouette of Star-Lord is simple, but all kinds of brilliant. It’s clever, funny, and we already know that his Walkman will feature prominently as a plot device, it certainly has in the trailers.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens everywhere August 1, and until then, have fun checking out the rest of these posters. Which ones are your favorites?
