This year’s Cannes Film Festival is winding down and the stars are saying farewell to another wonderful year of celebrating the best in the entertainment industry. This year, audiences watched as Martin Scorcese celebrated the premiere of his latest Leonardo DiCaprio-led flick, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Euphoria-creator Sam Levinson and musician-turned-actor Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye premiered their hotly debated HBO series, The Idol. One of the notable stars there to take in the festivities was Salma Hayek who, in an Instagram post that you can see below, said goodbye to the perfect temperatures of Cannes in a series of outfits.

Walking the red carpet, Salma Hayek can be seen in a dazzling purple dress with a plunging neckline that reveals a statement necklace dripping with diamonds. Giving her adoring fans and the paparazzi her best smile and princess wave, the House of Gucci star throws her best looks at the camera before the video cuts to another dress at a separate event. The next gown is black with bits of diamond-like flare that draw the eye in. Bidding adieu to this year’s Cannes, the actress’ caption gives the event a fond farewell.

As to what projects Salma Hayek may have spotted at this year’s Cannes, your guess is as good as ours. As mentioned at the top, two of the most talked about productions were Levinson and Tesfaye’s gritty HBO series, The Idol, as well as Scorcese’s latest feature, Killers of the Flower Moon. There was also Wes Anderson’s comeback in the star-studded Asteroid City which features performances from the likes of Maya Hawke, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Edward Norton, and Jason Schwartzman.

If she was looking for a bit of adventure, Salma Hayek may have grabbed a seat at the premiere of James Mangold’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The final movie in the Harrison Ford-led saga celebrated its premiere at the French cinema festival with critics primarily torn on Indy’s final adventure. This time around, he’s joined by his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) along with some new and old faces alike, as he dukes it out with the Nazis all over again.

There’s also a chance that Salma Hayek was able to be one of the lucky attendees to catch Pedro Almodóvar’s Western drama short, Strange Way of Life. A queer love story, the film, which stars Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke, only runs 30 minutes in length but sets out to tell the emotional bond between two men who have been friends for decades.

While this year may not have seen Salma Hayek celebrating any of her own titles at Cannes, the actress had an exciting 2022 and beginning to 2023 with the arrival of her films, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Magic Mike’s Last Dance. With two very different roles, Salma Hayek undoubtedly nailed them both with audiences now wondering what the Eternals star has on her list next. Although we don’t yet know when to expect it, we do know that Hayek’s next project will see the Frida star working alongside Anne Hathaway in a Netflix movie based on Kotaro Isaka’s novel, Seesaw Monster.
