Former America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon may have many talents of his own, but remembering his kid’s names apparently isn’t one of them. According to RadarOnline the celebrity stumbled when asked to name all of his children on Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM show. To his credit, Cannon was able to name all but one of his offspring–an impressive feat considering he currently has 12.

Shock Jock Howard Stern put Nick Cannon on the spot during a recent interview with the Drumline star. “I’m gonna test you,” said notorious troll Stern as he asked Cannon to name all 12 of his children. Unfortunately for Nick and his reputation as a parent, the actor failed the test.

Nick Cannon started out by naming twins Moroccan and Monroe. The two children are from Cannon’s former marriage to pop superstar Mariah Carey. The Wild ‘n Out creator next named Rise Messiah, Powerful Queen, and Golden Sagon. All three children were the result of Nick’s relationship with model Brittany Bell.

Cannon continued with twins Zion and Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin, all children the actor shares with Abby De La Rosa. Next up was Legendary Love, his child with model Bre Tiesi and daughter Halo, born just last December to Cannon and Alyssa Scott. The couple tragically lost a son, Zen, in 2021, whom Nick Cannon also named.

Who was the poor child left off the list that Nick Cannon gave to Howard Stern? Little Onyx Ice Cole Cannon’s daughter with former Price is Right model LaNisha Cole. Following Cannon’s glaring omission, Stern quipped, “I knew you didn’t know them all!”

Nick Cannon took the dig in stride and joked with Stern, “you got me,” before trying to justify his lapse in memory by claiming that he wasn’t done with his list yet when Howard cut him off.

Nick Cannon can be excused for forgetting a name or two when it comes to the dozen kids he’s sired. Not only is 12 children a lot to keep track of, but add to that number 12 unique and intricate names, and you have a lot for any parent to memorize.

Nick Cannon started out on the Nickelodeon teen sketch show All That before going on the host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild’n Out, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and the afore-mentioned America’s Got Talent. In addition to hosting, Cannon has acted in films like Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce. Somehow between acting and hosting, the multi-talented celeb also managed to have a rap career, releasing a self-titled album in 2003.

Meanwhile, with all of that going on, Nick Cannon still found the time to produce a dozen beautiful children. And that’s not even taking into account his current duties hosting The Masked Singer. The nickname “The hardest working man in show business” is usually associated with the late James Brown, but it might be time to transfer the title to Nick Cannon.

Luckily for Nick Cannon, his blunder is unlikely to bother the forgotten child. Onyx Ice is less than a year old and still far too young to understand that her father may-or-may not love her less than his other children. Cannon should start practicing his apology now, however, because the one thing about kids is they grow up quick.
