Food Network SuperChef Arrested For Multiple Horrific Allegations

Culinary star Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson has been arrested on multiple charges, including burglary, strangulation, and terroristic threatening. The 36-year-old was booked into the Louisville, Kentucky Metropolitan Department of Corrections on January 9. He also faces misdemeanor charges, including assault, menacing, criminal mischief, and theft-receipt of a stolen credit or debit card.

The specifics of the incident that led to “SuperChef” Ferguson’s arrest are chilling. According to court records, his estranged wife filed a protection order against him on January 2. The situation escalated when she called 911 to report that Ferguson had broken into her Louisville home. Once inside, he allegedly began violently punching walls and eventually attacking her.She also alleges that “SuperChef” Ferguson choked her, threatened her life, and demanded to see intimate parts of her body. The victim recounted losing consciousness during the ordeal, only to awake to further distressing actions by her estranged husband. Law enforcement observed visible injuries on the alleged victim to support the allegations.

His Wife Retracts Accusations

Following his arrest, “SuperChef” Ferguson was arraigned, pleading not guilty to all charges. His bond had been set at $10,000. On January 10, Ferguson’s lawyer, Krsna Tibbs, informed the judge that the victim and her lawyer asked for the bond to be reduced. This agreement stemmed partially from their three children, with Ferguson (their father) playing a crucial role in their care.Furthermore, Tibbs told the judge that the alleged victim had retracted the accusation of being strangled by “SuperChef” Ferguson. He clarified that he had discussed this matter with the alleged victim’s attorney, Kelsea Hall. Tibbs also told the press that the woman has no intention of pursuing criminal charges against her estranged husband.

Want To Resolve The Issue Outside Of Court

According to Tibbs, she believes that they can resolve their issues. Hall, who represents the alleged victim in a Family Court case involving “SuperChef” Ferguson, chose not to comment on the criminal proceedings. A prosecutor from the Jefferson County Attorney’s office contested Tibbs’ bond request of $5,000, deeming it too low given the severity of the charges.
