See Halle Berry Posting Half-Topless Photos To Promote Pills
Promoting bills requires less clothing than you might think.
Halle Berry is very interested in your gut. The star of Moonfall is, like many celebrities, using her social media presence to promote a product. And, not shy about using her physical beauty to grab some attention, she’s doing it while looking like her clothes are literally falling off.
The actress posted the photo to her official Instagram account yesterday. With one hand Halle Berry holds a pill out, and with the other she holds up a top that appears to be spilling off her. You can see the image below.
What’s the pill Halle Berry is holding up? It’s called Pendulum, whose own Instagram page says the company is “on a mission to improve mental and physical health through the gut microbiome.” In her caption, Berry writes “gut” a lot. Like, a lot. It honestly gets a little weird. She starts off saying she’s busy trusting her “gut and taking care of it too.” She writes the product can “rē•spin your approach to gut health” (more on that “rē•spin” in a moment) and assures you that your whole body can be healthy “[w]hen your GUT is healthy.” Finally she proclaims, “Healing my GUT has changed my life,” and urges her 7.9 million followers to pick up their own Pendulum at rē•spin.
As for what rē•spin is — that’s Halle Berry’s wellness website which offers products like Pendulum, organic CBD products, accessories for home, jewelry, and more. You can also connect with professional fitness trainers on the site. Berry writes that the site was conceived from her own need to “rē•spin” how she lived her life, as well as society’s need to “rē•spin the way we think about everything we thought we knew.” And also, you know. Halle Berry’s last big screen appearance was in Moonfall, the disappearing return of director Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) to the disaster genre. After months of promotion the sci-fi/conspiracy/disaster thriller bombed harder than any of the chunks of the Moon in the flick itself, not even making half of its budget back. Unsurprisingly, critics ripped it to shreds, leaving it with a horrifying 37% Rotten Tomatoes score.
The next flick in which Halle Berry will serve as lead is also a science fiction movie, but there may be reason to have higher hopes for it. Last year Deadline reported that Berry was joining the Netflix sci-fi drama The Mothership as both star and executive producer. The Bruised star will play Sara — a woman whose husband disappeared under mysterious circumstances. A year later, Sara discovers a seemingly alien object on her farm that she hopes will help her find and rescue her husband. The Mothership will be the feature directorial debut for Matt Charman, who has previously written acclaimed movies such as the Oscar-nominated Bridge of Spies, which he co-wrote with Joel and Ethan Coen.
Unfortunately, Halle Berry will not reprise the role of Sofia for John Wick: Chapter 4, though that doesn’t mean we won’t see Sofia again. Berry’s character was introduced in 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum. While confirming she won’t be in the next John Wick film, Berry hinted that Sofia could be getting her own spin-off project in the growing John Wick mythos.
