Actors field a lot of questions. Actors primarily identified with a single property field a lot of questions about that specific film or movie. You can imagine over the years they’ll hear a number of the same queries time and time again. What do you think the ratio of Star Trek to T.J. Hooker questions is for Shatner?
That definitely seems to be the case with Tom Wilson, better known to legions of fanatics as Biff Tannen in the Back to the Future trilogy. He’s been asked the same questions so many times that he reportedly carries around this sheet of Frequently Asked Questions just in case someone wants to know something about Back to the Future. Here’s the FAQ…
We first discovered the above image on Feddit and the topics of this FAQ cover a wide range. Wilson is a classic “that guy” (you know, you recognize him, but you’re not certain from what), so he reminds fans who he actually is. There’s some trivia, like how Eric Stoltz originally played Marty McFly, the role later immortalized by Michael J. Fox. You can also tell he gets asked about working with different actors quite a bit, but it’s nice to know that Crispin Glover may not be as freaky and weird as he comes across when you’re watching his movies (his movies, the movies he makes, like It’s Fine. Everything Is Fine!, as opposed to mainstream movies fare Charlie’s Angels).
It’s nice to see what he’s been up to in his post-Back to the Future years. To be honest, stand up comedy wouldn’t have been my first guess. Though he’s also do quite a bit of TV work recently.
Here’s a video of Wilson performing a song he wrote about answering the same questions over and over again.
