George Clooney is very well known for playing pranks on co-stars, but apparently, he's also quite the gracious host.

George Clooney is a man of many talents. He can act, direct, produce, and apparently be an excellent host for an entire cast of stars at his home in Italy. In a recent interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Julia Roberts was asked if she had ever been to Clooney’s Italian mansion in Lake Como. Roberts revealed that not only had she been there, but she also lived there with the rest of the Oceans Twelve cast when it was filming.

Ocean’s Twelve was a star-studded sequel to the Ocean’s Eleven remake, so that mansion would have definitely been a fun place to be. In addition to George Clooney and Julia Roberts, the movie also starred Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, and more. Of course, Clooney’s mansion seems to have plenty of space, so it probably wasn’t much of a squeeze to put everyone up while they were filming.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts will be reuniting in another project soon, as they starred together in Ticket to Paradise, which is expected to release in October of this year. The movie tells the story of a divorced couple traveling to Bali to stop their daughter from marrying a local on a whim, the same mistake they made nearly 25 years earlier. The movie is directed by Ol Parker who also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Pipski. Ticket to Paradise also stars Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd, Lucas Bravo, and Sean Lynch.

These days, George Clooney is doing a lot more producing and directing than acting. Other than Ticket to Paradise, Clooney only has one acting project scheduled — a currently untitled film that will also star Brad Pitt and be directed by Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts. Ticket to Paradise will be Clooney’s first role since 2020’s Grizzly II: Revenge and The Midnight Sky.

George Clooney is currently busy directing The Boys in the Boat, which is in the midst of filming. The Boys in the Boat is a story about the University of Washington’s rowing team going from their humble beginnings to winning gold in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The movie is based on the book by Daniel James Brown and the screenplay is adapted by Jon Hartmere and Mark L. Smith. The movie will star Joel Edgerton, Chris Diamantopoulos, Hadley Robinson, Callum Turner, Courtney Henggeler, James Wolk, and more.

While George Clooney won’t be gracing our screens with his acting talents again until October, there are plenty of projects releasing in the near future that he’s producing. He has two documentaries in the works with Brother from Another and How to Build a Truth Engine. He’s also on board to produce several movies including the aforementioned Ticket to Paradise and The Boys in the Boat. Clooney’s additional producing credits include Untitled X’s and O’s, The Monster of Florence, and Red Platoon. In other words, Clooney is a pretty busy guy, so there’s no need to worry that we won’t be getting more projects from him in the near future.
