Former co-host of The Talk and U.K. X-Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne, had a health scare last month that has still left her, and her doctors, utterly baffled. Deadline reports that nearly a month later, the reason for her sudden illness on the set of Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror is still a mystery, as nothing was conclusive after countless tests. The fiery matriarch of the Osbourne clan was told that she had passed out for 20 minutes while filming, which came on so suddenly, she has no memory of even falling to the ground.

The incident took place back on December 18 in Santa Paula, California, during a location shoot at the Glen Tavern Inn, a “haunted” resort once featured on Ghost Adventures. Sharon Osbourne went to two separate hospitals, seeking treatment from two different teams of doctors, within the span of two days. Adding to the mystery, and the concern over her health, is Osbourne’s past history as a cancer survivor.

Famously, the head of the Osbourne household and reality TV pioneer was diagnosed with colon cancer while filming The Osbournes for MTV. Cameras followed Sharon Osbourne as she underwent treatment during the hit show’s second season, helping to raise awareness of the disease among women, and normalizing seeking treatment among an entire generation of viewers. A double mastectomy in 2012, despite being cancer-free, was done after she found out about a genetic predisposition for breast cancer.

Sharon Osbourne has been helping to support her husband, Metal God and Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, as his own health is slowly getting worse following spinal surgery and a diagnosis of Parkinson’s. Amazingly, given his long history of drug abuse, most of Ozzy’s current issues stem from a 2003 ATV accident, which required multiple plates to be placed in his body and those plates are now, terrifyingly, actually moving around under his skin. A 2019 fall aggravated the spinal damage, but the surgery done last year has at least allowed the Black Sabbath frontman to lift his head up while he’s walking again.

Despite the pain and difficulty walking, Ozzy Osbourne is still able to sing, with his latest album being nominated for a Grammy. The 73-year-old performer still plans to go on tour later this year, after having delayed it once for the spinal surgery. Ozzy frequently admits, and has for decades, that “Without my Sharon, I’d be f–king gone, we have a little row now and then, but otherwise we just get on with it,” noting that the Osbournes have been married for over 40 years.

Between Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s health, the power couple has to be commended for still getting up each day and going to work. Sharon is back on The Talk, for the first time after her health scare, and she’s expected to still be there every morning for as long as she can. The No More Tours 2 European tour kicks off on May 3 in Helsinki, celebrating the 50-year career of one of the greatest performers in rock history.
