Dogpool Revealed For Deadpool 3 And He Is Perfect
While those who celebrated were enjoying their Thanksgiving feasts, the bestest girl was also getting in on the celebrations and, from the looks of it, ate just a bit too much turkey. In a recently shared Instagram post, Deadpool 3’s Dogpool is kicking back and relaxing, showing off a very full lil belly. Donning her very own Deadpool costume, the tiny pup’s caption might as well have come from Wade Wilson himself, reading, “Just letting it all hang out.”

An incredibly distinct look, the adorable pooch’s disheveled fur on top of her head and tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth will make her an unforgettable star for her MCU debut in Deadpool 3. Jeering his latest co-star from the comments section, Ryan Reynolds, the man behind the titular anti-hero, wrote “It’s like a centipede.” He better watch who he’s teasing as Dogpool is decked out in her full uniform, ready to kick some butt – just after this nap.

Credited with snapping this latest festive shot of Dogpool is Wendy Jacobson, a producer who has previously worked on flicks including San Andreas and Rampage as well as Marvel and Disney series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Jacobson is also producing Deadpool 3, something that, according to her own Instagram account, she’s really looking forward to for the dedicated fandom to sink their teeth into.

Along with Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool and Dogpool standing by his side, the film will also star Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Emma Corrin as a yet to be revealed villain, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, and Matthew Macfadyen in an undisclosed role.
When Does Deadpool 3 Come Out?
While Hugh Jackman’s reprisal of Wolverine may have been the biggest news to come from the production so far, fans are just as excited to see that man’s best friend, Dogpool, will also be barking her way onto the cast. As of right now, Deadpool 3 is slated for a release on July 26, 2024. Like many other movies from Marvel Studios, the feature has faced a slew of setbacks due to the now-settled SAG-AFTRA strike but now it seems as though Shawn Levy’s latest project has settled into an official release.
What’s In Store
As for the plot behind Deadpool 3, while character additions like Dogpool and Wolverine are shedding better light on what’s to come, there haven’t been any big announcements surrounding the film’s storyline. While the rumor mill has been working overtime, speculating about what villainous role Emma Corrin could be playing, that hasn’t been revealed, nor has it been made clear how Garner’s Elektra will enter the story. We last saw Garner’s character in 2005 after being introduced in 2003’s Ben Affleck-led Daredevil, so it will be wonderful to see her reclaim her throne in the MCU.
Hopefully, Dogpool has finished principal photography for Deadpool 3 and can continue to enjoy the holiday season in style – stuffing her face with all the treats and turkey she desires.
