Brie Larson is one of the biggest box office draws in global cinema, an Academy Award-winning actress, and a vocal activist, and, it turns out, looks pretty fantastic in a flowery crop top. Though the Marvel actress has quite a robust social media presence and enjoys posting pictures of herself both glammed up and in somewhat…odd scenarios, she predictably also inspires a lot of fan accounts. One, in particular, posted a picture of Brie Larson sipping from a tall glass while wearing a very tight, very small crop top and showing off her famously ripped abs.
In this post, Brie Larson seems to be taking a selfie in a hotel room, drinking an unidentified beverage through a straw. Her blonde hair is tousled, brushed back and over to her right, and she is wearing a silver chain necklace with a small golden pendant. Her top is black and decorated with small images of red and white flowers with green leaves. Overall, Brie Larson is giving off some real “relaxation time” vibes in this particular picture.
The crop top that Brie Larson is wearing in this picture also serves to show off her toned abs, another one of her favorite social media activities. Though Marvel Cinematic Universe stars famously get into some very intense shape to portray various superheroic and villainous characters (and have some surprising life changes by doing so), Larson is especially known for her workout routines. If you share screen time with Chris Evans, you probably learn to get ripped pretty fast.
Brie Larson has not appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for more than a cameo since 2019, when she was introduced as Captain Marvel in her titular solo movie and immediately followed it up by appearing in Avengers: Endgame. After briefly showing up in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, she will be reunited with Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris for The Marvels, which is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2023. The film will also star Samuel L. Jackson (who may or may not be being phased out of the MCU), along with Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur from Ms. Marvel and Park Seo-joon in a mysterious, undisclosed role.
Of course, because modern film stars cannot just star in films, Brie Larson has a whole lot of other things going besides The Marvels. She will soon be starring in the Apple TV+ series Lessons in Chemistry as a scientist in the 1960s forced out of her field by a combination of chauvinism and an unplanned pregnancy, only to find herself hosting a popular cooking show. The series (which is expected to be released sometime in 2023) is based on a bestselling novel by Bonnie Garmus.
Brie Larson also seems prepared to jump ship to one of the biggest media franchises in the world other than Marvel by starring in the upcoming Fast X. While we know little about her character Tess thus far, we have previously reported that Universal Pictures is already looking to develop a solo, Hobbs & Shaw-style movie around Brie Larson’s character.
