Brie Larson

Marvel star Brie Larson has been keeping busy with plenty of upcoming projects, but the star still takes time to frequently share snapshots of her life with fans on Instagram. From attending an Adele concert, to watching the new Lindsay Lohan movie, the Captain Marvel star has shown she can relax, and as the latest photos show, she can glam up just as well. Going old school with a series of polaroid photos, Larson looks fantastic in a classic black dress with a deep neckline.

Brie Larson styled herself for the Celine at the Wiltern fashion show, sitting front row as the high-end luxury brand unveiled a new winter clothing line. Larson’s 2020 Oscar gown was a Celine original, and since then the star has worn other gowns from the fashion house to award shows. The Academy Award winner seems to enjoy sequins, a running theme through most of her Celine designs.

At home in the front row of a fashion show, or at the gym, Brie Larson launched to stardom after a decade of mostly small roles in Disney Channel shows, following the success of The Room in 2015. Playing a kidnapped woman raising a small child in a tiny 10×10 room, Larson won the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Actress, after isolating herself in her apartment for 30 days as a way to prep for the role. Following The Room, Larson had a role in the box office bomb Freefire, followed by a blockbuster success alongside her future MCU co-stars, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.

Brie Larson in Kong: Skull Island

Kong: Skull Island made over $500 million at the box office, Brie Larson’s first major big-budget film, starring as Mason Weaver, an investigative photographer. The role was considered a step back for the Oscar winner critically, despite being a mainstream success. Soon after, the star was cast in the role that will forever define the rest of her career, Carol Danvers.

Brie Larson will forever hold the distinction of starring in the first MCU female-led film, Captain Marvel, as former Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. Powered by an Infinity Stone (sort of), Danvers is one of the strongest characters in the MCU, though Larson has not appeared outside of a few brief cameos since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. Fans have to continue waiting for the oft-delayed The Marvels in order to see Larson back on screen as the cosmic powerhouse.

The MCU is not the only franchise Brie Larson will soon be appearing in, as the star will be in the upcoming Fast X, alongside fellow newcomer Jason Momoa. On the small, streaming screen, fans will soon see Larson in multiple projects, a biopic of Victoria Woodhull for Amazon, comedy-drama Lessons in Chemistry for Apple+, another Apple+ series based off of a female CIA Officer, and the Netflix film Lady Business. While she has been quiet for the past few years, with multiple projects set to be released within the next year, the Marvel star will soon be all over screens large and small.
