Miles Morales is having a huge year, and now he’ll reach another significant milestone in March when the 300th issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man is released.

Along with hitting 300 issues, Miles is also getting his own official arch-enemy. According to the release, Rabble will be the newest arch-enemy of Miles’ Spider-Man (via Games Radar).

Miles Morales Vs. Rabble

The commemorative issue is numbered 18 in the ongoing series, and Rabble is out for revenge against Miles Morales’ Spider-Man in the aftermath of the Gang War crossover series.

Along with Rabble, Spidey must watch out for the Superhero Restraint Unit aka the Cape Killers. Luckily, Miles won’t be alone in his battles as both Prowler and Ms. Marvel will be helping him out.

Miles Morales: Spider-Man Special Issue

The special issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man will be penned by series regular Cody Ziglar with artwork by Federico Vicentini, Sara Pichelli, Juann Cabal, and David Marquez, with additional artists yet to be announced.

Marvel’s official synopsis for the series also promises guest stars and various twists and turns. It seems like it’s definitely going to be an issue that Spidey fans shouldn’t miss.

Rabble’s Backstory

If you’re unfamiliar with Miles Morales’ new arch-enemy, Rabble was previously introduced in other series issues, though she had not yet reached arch-enemy status.

Like all great Spider-Man villains, she has a personal connection to the man under the mask and she hates Miles due to the fact he was admitted to Brooklyn Visions Academy over her.

Rabble’s real name is Raneem Rashad and she is a tech genius that utilizes an army of drones.

Miles Morales has certainly come a long way since Marvel comics first introduced him in 2011. Now, he has his own movie series and is a major part of a massively successful video game franchise.

Most recently, gamers could take control of miles in Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5, where you could switch between Peter and Miles as you protected New York City from the likes of Kraven and Venom.

Video Games And Movie Franchise

Of course, the success of Insomniac’s video game franchise means we’ll undoubtedly be seeing Miles Morales again in the inevitable Spider-Man 3.

Meanwhile, Miles was the star character in the animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, where he faced off against the dimension-hopping Spot and met the rest of the Spider-verse led by Spider-Man 2099 aka Miguel O’Hara.

Like the first Spider-Verse film, Across the Spider-Verse was a major critical and commercial success and has people extremely hyped to see the conclusion of Miles’ animated adventures, especially after the film ended on a major cliffhanger.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Fortunately, there are other ways to get your Miles fix, including the aforementioned Spider-Man 2 game for PS5 that lets you swing around the city as Miles. Also, make sure to watch out for the special 300th issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man which is set to be published by Marvel on March 27, 2024.
