Like most other A-list celebrities who are not named Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek attended the 95th Academy Awards last night in massively impressive style. However, before the star of Magic Mike’s Last Dance arrived at the big show, she attended the annual Motion Picture & Television Fund “Night Before” gala, wearing a gorgeous all-white robe outfit that landed somewhere between a boxer’s robe and a bathrobe. Regardless of what exactly it was going for, Salma Hayek has proved time and again that she can pull off pretty much any look and took to Instagram to prove it.

In the pictures posted to her absurdly popular Instagram (which currently has 23 million followers), Salma Hayek is wearing a silky white hooded robe, carefully tied at the waist to reveal an ample amount of décolletage and a dangling diamond and silver necklace. The outfit is matched with a pair of white trousers and was designed by Saint Laurent, one of Salma Hayek’s most favored fashion houses.

Salma Hayek’s long black hair is tied into two waist-length black braids, styled by Jennifer Yepez (conveniently tagged in the images), while her makeup by Patrick Ta subtly highlights her famous cheekbones with peach tones and renders her lips brilliantly scarlet. While Salma Hayek clearly has an affinity for all-white outfits, it is clear to see she is not afraid of introducing a little color.

The actual event Salma Hayek was attending before the Academy Award ceremony was the annual fundraiser for the Motion Picture & Television Fund, a charitable organization in Hollywood that helps provide assistance for industry veterans in their old age or infirmity. Since the early 2000s, fundraising for the organization has been heavily spearheaded by George Clooney, who co-chaired 2023’s event with Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Nolan, and Emma Thomas.

From Dusk Till Dawn

In several pictures, one can see Salma Hayek exaggeratedly laughing alongside George Clooney, with whom she co-starred in 1996’s From Dusk Till Dawn along with Quentin Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, and Juliette Lewis. Another picture sees Hayek posing alongside activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, who herself also attended the Oscars.

The final picture in Salma Hayek’s photo carousel has the actress posing alongside Michelle Yeoh, who later won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her starring role in the science fiction film Everything Everywhere All at Once. The critically acclaimed movie won seven Oscars in total, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (for a visibly emotional Ke Huy Quan), and Best Supporting Actress (for Jamie Lee Curtis).

Salma Hayek most recently starred in Magic Mike’s Last Dance with series star Channing Tatum, and in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, two movies with last in their titles but very different audiences. The latter movie was critically adored, currently holding a very impressive 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It was just the most recent of Salma Hayek’s career-long collaborations with Antonio Banderas and co-starred Florence Pugh, Ray Winstone, John Mulaney, and a ridiculous number of other talented voice actors.
