See Alison Brie Wearing See-Through Lingerie In A Hallway

Alison Brie made the leap from cult sitcom ensemble star to acclaimed indie filmmaker so easily that you would think anybody could do it. However, it is undeniable that almost no one could pull off a classy yet sensual look like the one she does in a recent Instagram post, in which she poses in a checkered suit and a lacy, see-through corset. Around here, Alison Brie is one of our favorite young stars and this is the kind of thing that makes it easy to see why.
The photos in Alison Brie’s post appear to be taken backstage at The Drew Barrymore Show, where the GLOW star appeared to promote her upcoming romantic comedy Somebody I Used to Know. Brie stands in the middle of a brightly lit hallway, showing off a stylish houndstooth Versace suit with 1970s-style high-waisted trousers, deep cuffs, and a single-button jacket. Beneath that is a lacy red and black corset by Dior (reportedly a favorite designer of the star) while her oxblood purse was provided by Bulgari.
The second photo in the set sees Alison Brie posing in a more coquettish position with one hand on the wall of the hallway and a knee dramatically bent over the other. According to the tags on the photo, the Star Wars: Visions star’s outfit was styled by Erin Walsh, her long brunette hair by stylist Tommy Buckett, and her makeup by Quinn Murphy. It appears Drew Barrymore made Alison Brie get into a banana costume for the show (for some reason we won’t delve deep into), but the sheer glam of this outfit is unforgettable no matter what fruit or vegetable suit she got into subsequently.
Although Alison Brie may be best known for starring on the cult Dan Harmon sitcom Community as Annie Edison, a bookish, type-A community college student, in real life, she is known as something of a fashionista. Just recently, she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in a stunning metallic mini-dress by Sol AngelAnn, which absolutely took our collective breath away. Similarly, we never thought we would see Annie Edison in thigh-high golden boots (by Stuart Weitzmann), but it seems that wonders will never cease.
It also appears that Alison Brie took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to deliver a rap in support of Somebody I Used to Know, so it seems clear that she is a triple threat when it comes to project promotion (the threats being sex appeal, rap, and banana suits). Somebody I Used to Know stars Alison Brie as a stressed-out workaholic who connects with an ex (Jay Ellis) during a visit to her hometown, while also forming a friendship with a younger woman (Kiersey Clemons).
Somebody I Used to Know was co-written by Alison Brie and her husband, Dave Franco, who also directed the film. While some couples might find it stressful to work together, it appears Brie and Franco have things on lock. If it results in more press tours like this, we hope they keep making movies together for years to come.
