Will we ever see a third volume of Kill Bill happen? There’s always a big question mark around this project. Some fans strongly feel that the first two volumes left the story complete. Also, there was some bad blood between director Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman after she was hurt in a car accident on set, and it’s never totally clear how well the pair have repaired their previously close relationship. Now, with the filmmaker saying he will only be making one more movie for Hollywood, it has everyone on edge. What will that project be? In a recent interview, Quentin Tarantino brought up the idea of Uma Thurman’s daughter starring in Kill Bill 3 at her side. That idea has everyone excited. Curious what it would look like?

Fanartist Spdrmnkyxxiii is clearly one of the people who liked this idea. They created a poster for Kill Bill 3 with Uma Thurman’s daughter, Maya Hawke, on the cover. Take a look.

This fanmade poster is simple but so perfect. Kill Bill used a lot of colors for the outfits and the sets. Uma Thurman was actually not a fan of this yellow tracksuit. Quentin Tarantino said she felt it made her feel like a banana popsicle. However, that suit helped her stand out in the movie and became iconic. The yellow suit on the yellow background, with that sword, is immediately recognizable and makes many fans crave a rewatch of the two volumes we have for Kill Bill.

Uma Thurman’s daughter is an actress and you may recognize her. She joined the season three cast of Stranger Things for Netflix and became a fan-favorite character. Maya Hawke also had a small part in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood where she played a flowerchild. Naturally, this suggests that her mother probably approved, and the bad blood between Thurman and Tarantino may be in the past. Does this give us hope for Kill Bill 3? Maybe.

Quentin Tarantino has been doing interviews recently to promote his novelization of the movie Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood. It was on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he said he would love to make Kill Bill 3 with Maya Hawke and Uma Thurman. He said, “I think it’s just revisiting the characters twenty years later and just imagining the Bride and her daughter, BB, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered,” said the filmmaker. “And now the Bride and BB are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma [Thurman] and cast her daughter Maya [Hawke] in the thing would be f*cking exciting.”

If Quentin Tarantino is only going to make one more movie, what will it be? This is the question that keeps Tarantino fans eager for his next interview. He’s brought up that for a while, he considered doing a remake of his directorial debut, Reservoir Dogs. He says that idea is out, but honestly, he throws around a lot of ideas that he then claims to have ruled out only for them to come up again. There’s no telling which of his ideas he’ll choose in the end. Still, Kill Bill 3 comes up more than most. If Uma Thurman says she is in, will that be it? If Maya Hawke likes the idea, and then talks Thurman into it, will that be it? It seems like there may be other factors that could sway the director at this point.

Ultimately, fans are divided on whether they feel a third installment should happen. Kill Bill was excellent. Would making a third one be something new, exciting, and worthy of his last efforts? Would it be a great end for Uma Thurman’s working relationship with Tarantino? She played the Bride for Kill Bill and also became famous for that dancing scene in Pulp Fiction. Starring in his last movie may be a fitting touch. He’d said the idea is something that excites him. Often, that leads to a movie we see on the screen for Tarantino. We’ll have to wait and see.
