See Chris Pratt Team Up With Jurassic Park Stars In New Jurassic World Photos
We have new pictures of Chris Pratt and Jurassic Park veterans from the upcoming next installment of the Jurassic World series.
As we continue to stomp closer to the June 10 release of Jurassic World Dominion, the good folks who are in charge of marketing for the final film in the long-running franchise are keeping us on the edge of our seats with some new teaser images. Revealing Chris Pratt, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and the rest of the mix of old and new characters coming face-to-face with prehistoric beasts, the pictures give us a look at what we can expect from the upcoming blockbuster.
Claws abound in a photo of Sam Neill’s Alan Grant holding a torch and taking a closer look at what lingers in a darkly lit room with Laura Dern’s Ellie Sattler sticking her head out of a window behind him, seemingly unaware of the dino creeping up on them. In a scene we have a lot of questions about, a photo of chained dinosaurs reveals a prehistoric fight pit situation with revelers cheering on their champion for the win. Meanwhile, Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady stares down a beautiful calm looking red creature in an image that tells us that not all of the beasts will be baddies. This photo also oddly features part of the masked crew behind it, revealing the real magic behind the six-film odyssey.
The slew of freshly released images also displays a giant long-necked dinosaur chillin’ in a large body of water while a plane flies overhead, as well as new-to-the franchise, Mamoudou Athie glamorously stepping out of a helicopter ready to save the world. Showing he can be tough, Chris Pratt faces down an unseen menace with a sniper rifle as Sam Neill and Isabella Sermon bravely try to deescalate the situation.
Picking up right after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the Colin Trevorrow directed, Dominion will wrap up the franchise almost three decades in the making. The film will center around a world where the island, Isla Nublar, has been destroyed allowing dinosaurs and humans to exist together – for better or for worse. Hoping to wrangle the prehistoric creatures once and for all, the newbies will need the help of some OGs to get the job done. Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) will be teaming up with original Jurassic Park characters, Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), something that is sure to tie the film up into a nice little bow. To survive, they’ll have some extra help from characters played by DeWanda Wise, Isabella Sermon, Daniella Pineda, Omar Sy, Mamoudou Athie, Justice Smith, Scott Haze, and Dichen Lachman.
Saving the world from the terrifyingly ginormous T-Rex and other prehistoric predators is one tough job, but we’re thinking the characters in Dominion will have it covered. We’re super excited to see how the script blends the two worlds together and how the chemistry between actors like Chris Pratt and Jeff Goldblum will play out. With all of the talent-packed into this film, along with the energizing photos we’re seeing today, we can’t wait to buy our tickets and head to a theater for the final installment in the story of Jurassic Park.
