Bryce Dallas Howard Reveals Horrible Condition Asked Of Her For Jurassic World: Dominion

Bryce Dallas Howard was told to "lose weight" for Jurassic World: Dominion.

Bryce Dallas Howard has gone through some horrific things while making a name for herself in the acting world, and the newest is a horrible condition that she was told to “lose weight” for Jurassic World: Dominion. According to Howard, “On the third movie, it was actually because there were so many women cast, it was something that Colin felt very strongly about in terms of protecting me…because the conversation came up again, ‘We need to ask Bryce to lose weight.'”

Director of Jurassic World: Dominion, Colin Trevorrow, had apparently been protecting Bryce Dallas Howard in this ordeal, despite her claims that head executives for the studio wanted her to lose weight. Howard also stated that this film required a lot more action and stun work, and if she had been dieting, there was no way she would have been able to have all her strength to make those stunts work. To be honest, no woman should be asked for such a ridiculous condition, especially if they had been part of a successful franchise, to begin with.

Having Bryce Dallas Howard stay the way she saw fit, and Trevorrow protecting her has clearly worked out for the best, as Jurassic World: Dominion has crossed over the $1 billion mark in worldwide box office numbers. Despite what critics might say about this franchise, it has been highly successful. The newest entry also brought the franchise full circle as Howard and Chris Pratt were joined by Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.

The Jurassic Park franchise has always been successful, as people want to see dinos go wild on screen, and presumably eat a whole bunch of people. Bryce Dallas Howard is part of the reason for the new franchise direction being successful, as she has paired well with Chris Pratt. However, she also brought up the fact that she was paid far less than her co-star, though reports were that he also backed Howard up and tried to get her pay to be much higher.

We feel for Bryce Dallas Howard, as it seems this Jurassic World franchise has truly tested her resolve. From the reports that she was paid far less, to her butt getting digitally altered in posters, it seems that she can’t catch a break in just wanting to be part of a storied franchise. Now, this new report of being asked to lose weight again is just horrible. At this point, the studio executives should just leave her alone, as the movies have been successful with her as she is, and that should count for something.

We understand that Jurassic World: Dominion is the final chapter that has summed up both the old and new franchises quite well, but we wonder if the Jurassic Park franchise is going to live on past this latest entry. We would assume that since it’s a proverbial cash cow, the studio would want to see the franchise continue past what has already happened, but it would be safe to say that Bryce Dallas Howard will likely not be involved. For now, it seems that Jurassic Park is going to be on the back burner for a few years, or until more genetically spliced dinosaurs are thought up to terrorize the world.
