Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson can now lay claim to having her own Disneyland roller coaster. The 32-year-old just shared a video on her YouTube channel showcasing her recent trip to Disneyland Paris to attend the opening of the Avengers Campus, the Marvel-themed attraction at the popular theme park. Part of the attraction is the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force ride, a roller coaster featuring Iron Man and Captain Marvel. Larson shot footage reprising her role as the Captain for the ride, but didn’t fully realize the context or the impact until she arrived at Disneyland Paris and rode the coaster herself.

According to MovieWeb, the Avengers Campus attraction opened at Disneyland Paris a month ago, but this was the actress’ first time visiting, which she said fulfilled a dream of hers. A native of Sacramento, Larson said she visited Disneyland in Anaheim often while growing up, and now being part of a Disneyland ride is something she still cannot believe. “I HAVE A ROLLER COASTER AT DISNEYLAND,” she exclaimed in a post accompanying the video. “I just can’t believe it. I feel so honored to be living out my childhood dreams,” she said.

The ride is currently only at Disneyland Paris, and it is not clear if Disney’s California Adventure Park, home to the Avengers Campus, will get the ride at some point. Disney World does not have an Avengers Campus attraction, because Universal Studios in Orlando has the theme park rights to most of the Marvel characters east of the Mississippi. That’s due to an agreement that pre-dates Disney’s purchase of Marvel, and that’s why you need to travel to California to visit the Avengers Campus. If you want to experience the Avengers coaster any time soon, however, you’ll have to get your passport ready and get to France. The ride, which she enjoyed with her boyfriend and actor Elijah Allan-Blitz, certainly got Brie Larson’s seal of approval. “My favorite part is the speed. It is insanely fast,” she said.

Although she hasn’t portrayed Captain Marvel in a feature film since Avengers: Endgame, she’s had several opportunities to reprise the role. She appeared in the Disney+ Marvel series Ms. Marvel in a brief cameo, and her video features a surprise meeting with star Iman Vellani, who also visited the Paris park. The two are currently filming their next MCU adventure, The Marvels, which opens in theaters on February 16, 2023. She also portrayed Captain Marvel in an Avengers-themed attraction Quantum Encounter for the Disney cruise ship The Wish.

Brie Larson’s career has been a bit of a roller coaster itself. She got her start in acting in 1998, appearing in parody skits for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. After that came small roles in TV shows including Touched by an Angel and films including Jennifer Garner’s 13 Going on 30. In 2001, she had a role on Bob Saget’s short-lived sitcom Raising Dad, until she had a breakthrough role in 2010’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. She followed that with a role in the hit series The United States of Tara, and then hit superstardom when he role in 2015’s Room won her the Academy Award for Best Actress. Soon after, she appeared in blockbusters like Kong: Skull Island, until she was cast as Captain Marvel and became a key member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She recently finished filming a role in Vin Diesel’s Fast X.
