Ever since Henry Cavill began to make a name for himself in Hollywood, fans have been eager to follow his romantic escapades. Cavill began to garner attention with his breakout role as Charles Brandon in The Tudors, but really caught eyes when he took on the role as Kal-El in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Playing Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman for the first time brought him a lot of attention and though he has never been married, he has been engaged and has also been linked to a few different women. So, who is Henry Cavill’s girlfriend now?

PAST SWEETIES

Before we talk about Henry Cavill’s present girlfriend, let’s take a look back at some of the women he has dated in the past. One of Cavill’s first high-profile girlfriends was Ellen Whitaker, an English showjumper. In fact, Cavill and Whitaker were actually engaged for four months before they broke it off and ended their relationship.

Another high-profile girlfriend is one that would cause many eyebrows to raise in today’s environment. That was MMA fighter (at the time) and actress best known for her role as Cara Dune on Disney’s The Mandalorian, Gina Carano. The two had an on-again, off-again relationship that lasted nearly two years.

Henry Cavill then moved on to a short summer get-together with actress Kaley Cuoco. At the time, Cuoco was riding high on the success of her TV series, The Big Bang Theory. The pair hooked up in the summer of 2013, but that is all it lasted.

After her, Cavill moved on to Tara King, an English actress who was 14 years Cavill’s junior when they began dating in 2016. Throughout most of 2017 and into early 2018, Henry Cavill dated Lucy Cork. The pair met on the set of Mission: Impossible – Fallout where Cork was a stuntwoman. Although the two stopped dating, they did reunite briefly for one episode of The Witcher.

HENRY CAVILL’S GIRLFRIEND

For over a year now, Henry Cavill has been dating Natalie Viscuso. Cavill went public with their relationship back in April 2021 when he posted a picture of the two on Instagram. In it, the couple was playing chess. It shows Viscuso focusing on the chess board and her possible next move while Cavill is looking on lovingly at her. He captioned the picture with, “This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess.”

So, who is Natalie Viscuso? Believe it or not, Viscuso actually got her start on reality TV with the popular, yet unwatchable, MTV show My Super Sweet 16. The series followed spoiled rich kids whose parents would throw them lavish birthday parties or other celebrations that were both excessive and expensive. In her famous episode, which is notable for Viscuso making it her absolute mission to make sure she kicked out all uninvited high school freshmen, it followed Viscuso’s move with her wealthy father and stepmom from Roswell, New Mexico to La Jolla, California. Once in California, Natalie lived in a $5 million home and drove around town in her father’s Ferraris and Bentleys.

As far as being in front of the camera, that is all people would see of Natalie. After her infamous episode, Natalie decided staying behind the scenes would be her best move. It took her a little time, but in 2011, Viscuso snagged her first producing credit in a short film called I Killed Harry Hartman. In 2013, Viscuso grabbed her second producing credit on Amelia’s 25th.

THE JUMP TO STUDIO EXECUTIVE

Natalie Viscuso moved up through the ranks as a studio executive, finally landing as the vice president of television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment, the studio behind Cavill’s 2020 film, Enola Holmes. It is quite possible this is where the two met and when Viscuso became Henry Cavill’s girlfriend.

Prior to that, Viscuso was involved with numerous other television productions. These include the Stephen King TV series, The Mist, Scream: The TV Series, and Spy Kids: Mission Critical. All three series were very popular.

Recently, though, Viscuso has taken her talents and moved over to Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment, where she will oversee television as Vertigo’s new Vice President of TV. Viscuso is going to be a busy lady with Vertigo as they have a first-look television deal with Amazon. Currently, Vertigo has the anthology series Them: Covenant, which has just been renewed for a second season. Along with that, Vertigo will be producing fiction and non-fiction material for the streamer. Other than their work with Amazon, Vertigo has series’ currently set up with Netflix, Apple, HBO, and HBO Max. Viscuso will have her hands full for sure.

Henry Cavill’s girlfriend shared her sadness for leaving Legendary (…the decision to leave was one of the hardest yet.), to her excitement for starting a new chapter in her professional life (I can’t wait to show you what we’re building at Vertigo. Stay tuned…!) in one of her most recent Instagram posts.

HENRY CAVILL FANS BEING FANS

Unsurprisingly, a number of fans were not very thrilled with Henry Cavill when he broke the news about his new relationship with Natalie Viscuso. Although the two keep a fairly tight lid on their relationship, they have, from time to time, posted a few loving updates, much to the chagrin of Cavill’s following. This prompted Henry to take to his social media to politely scold those who were not enamored with the couple. He started with, “Dear fans and followers,” then proceeded to pen a lengthy “wee community announcement.” In it, Henry Cavill forgoes the high road and gets right to the heart of the matter. That was the negativity fans were showing toward Henry Cavill’s girlfriend.

After explaining his position on the matter, Cavill ended his post with, “I am very happy in love, and in life. I’d be enormously grateful if you were happy with me. If you can’t bring yourself to be happy with me, then at the very least try to do yourself proud and be the best version of yourself.”

So, we now know Henry Cavill’s girlfriend. We also know that they are very happy in their relationship and where they are in life. Slowly but surely, the pair have been a bit more forthcoming with their lives together, even with the earlier negative reactions they were getting. Most recently Henry Cavill posted a picture with his girlfriend on Instagram as they had completed the 13km Durrell Challenge, though neither of them actually ran in it for specific reasons.

Henry Cavill stated that “I’ve had the nine shades of hell beaten out of me through two weeks of fight scenes” while he believes “Natalie may have broken her foot a little while ago” so he was using that as his excuse for not running in the Durrell Challenge.
