Gen V

Prime Video has released a new trailer for The Boys spin-off series, Gen V. The clip introduces viewers to Marie Moreau, a young girl with the ability to manipulate blood, who recently enrolled at the Godolkin University School for Crimefighting. While she may not enjoy the same level of fame as Golden Boy, Jordan, or Andre, Marie wants to help people and save lives.

As the story unfolds, Marie and her fellow students stumble upon a secret known as “the Woods” and uncover the existence of cruel experiments. This revelation leads Marie on a perilous journey to expose the dark underbelly of Godolkin’s operations, making her a prime target for the formidable Vought International.

Since Gen V is deeply entrenched in The Boys’ mythos, viewers should expect a generous dose of violence.

Developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, The Boys spin-off series Gen V is based on The Boys comic book story arc “We Gotta Go Now” by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series intertwines with the events of The Boys season three, which revealed that supes are not born but are the result of Vought injecting babies with Compound V.
