As i24 News reports, Israeli actor Gal Gadot is endeavoring to organize a screening of a 47-minute video of the Hamas terrorist attacks, a video provided by an Israeli Defense Force spokesperson.

Intended to be screened before a curated audience consisting of Hollywood celebrities and well-known figures, the footage functions as evidence—a vital record of the attacks committed by Hamas terrorists against Israelis and communities near the Gaza border on October 7.

Gal Gadot Teams With Guy Nattiv

According to acclaimed, Oscar-winning director Guy Nattiv—whose latest film, Golda, charts a pivotal period in the life of iconic Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir—both Gal Gadot and her husband, Yaron Vearsano, pitched in to provide the opportunity.

While Nattiv leads efforts to screen the film footage, the actual date and details of the guest list are still being determined.

Footage Compared To The Holocaust

Nattiv, who describes himself as a humanist, underscored the specificity and benefits of the said audience, a crowd consisting of: “People who have film experience, so we can show them this crazy document that is reminiscent of the films created about the Holocaust.”

An advocate of a two-state solution to the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Nattiv vocally connected the footage Gal Gadot will screen to the Holocaust, during which the world and its press and governments acted with abject indifference to the suffering and mass murder of the Jewish population.

Intended For Small Audience

The director emphasized a pact he made with himself to ensure the content of the footage remained in the foreground rather than fade from memory—a pact to showcase the footage to the world. “Because now,” Nattiv said, “the denial begins—it is fake, it is not fake (…) We cannot pass by in silence.”

Currently, the intended plan organized by Gal Gadot is to screen the footage once for an initial audience of 120 viewers. The potential for additional screenings exists, although it depends upon the interest the footage generates.

Footage Is Disturbing

Ahead of the Gal Gadot screening, it was screened before a large audience of members of the Israeli Knesset—the country’s parliament—and hundreds of foreign journalists, reports of the footage describe it as profoundly disturbing.

At the Knesset screening in particular, some members of the Israeli legislative body stepped away from the video as it played, so overwhelmed were they by its content.

At the United Nations, Israel’s Ambassador to the U.N., Gilad Erdan, previously orchestrated a special screening of the video for a curated audience consisting of top-tier ambassadors and diplomats. For his part, Erdan articulated a commitment to heightening awareness internationally of the despicable crimes committed by Hamas.

Other Countries Shown The Video

The footage’s aim, Erdan conveyed, was to communicate to the entire world that Israel contends with a terrorist group that has a singular, openly stated goal: the annihilation of Israel and its people.

In addition to the upcoming screening initiated by DC Universe actress Gal Gadot–and the screening mentioned above at the U.N.–legislatures in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan have also been shown the videos, originally screened for journalists in Israel.

Raw, Unedited Audio And Video

The footage Gal Gadot has been provided consists of raw, unedited audio and video taken from Hamas terrorists’ body cameras and phones. The video and audio are from the October 7 Hamas attack, during which nearly 3,000 terrorists poured into Israel from the Gaza Strip via land, sea, and air, overwhelming the civilian communities and a military base.

Hamas murdered approximately 1,400 people, most of them civilians, in their homes and at an outdoor music festival, and also took nearly 240 hostages, young children and elderly people among them, back to the Gaza Strip.
