Gal Gadot is best known to audiences as the DC superhero Wonder Woman, but she actually had her breakout role in Fast & Furious, the fourth film in the long-running action franchise. She appeared as Gisele Yashar in four of the films – Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and a deleted scene in Furious 7 – but was killed off and has remained gone ever since. However, the series has become notable for bringing supposedly dead characters back from the grave and fans have wondered if Gisele could ever be given the resurrection treatment. With Gadot becoming even more of a megastar in recent years, many have believed that she would never return to the blockbuster franchise that helped make her a household name.

Well, it looks like that could actually be in the cards. Giant Freakin Robot has managed to obtain an exclusive scoop from one of our trusted and proven inside sources that say Gal Gadot is in talks to make a return to the Fast & Furious world. Apparently, Universal really wants to get her back in some capacity and representatives for the studio have approached her about the idea. However, our source says that it is completely up to Gadot whether or not she wants to come back. The studio seems to be offering her the shot at a return but Gadot is the one that has to make a decision on whether or not she wants to come back.

Of course, we are sure that time and money factor heavily into her decision. Gal Gadot has quickly become one of the busiest and most prominent actors in Hollywood today. Along with her role in Wonder Woman and its sequel, she also has a leading part in the upcoming Netflix action film Red Notice, the murder-mystery Death on the Nile, a miniseries where she’ll star as actress Hedy Lamarr, a grandiose new take on Cleopatra, and the action film Heart of Stone which is set to kick off a new franchise. There is no denying that Gadot’s schedule is booked tight for the next few years. Would she even be able to fit in a substantial appearance in another Fast & Furious movie?

However, there is the possibility that her return would not be a major role and could act as something of a cameo. Getting to see Gal Gadot as Gisele in a flashback would be a nice treat for longtime fans of the series and it would not require a huge commitment from the actress. She could shoot it in a day and that would still be a way for her to return to the series before it decides to close itself out for good.

We will have to wait and see if these talks between Gal Gadot and Universal end up getting her to jump behind the wheel one final time. The series feels like it is about to enter its final stretches and it would be very fitting to see Gisele Yashar one more time before the story closes out forever.
