Deadpool 3 Reveals Huge Character Death In Shocking And Violent Photos
Deadpool 3 is eight months away from being released, but the spoilers are already taking over the internet. Warning: if you don’t want to know these spoilers, turn back right now! Instagram account @mcu_master01 just posted four pictures taken from the set of the upcoming Deadpool movie and they confirm that Sabretooth is not only in the flick, but he’s going to die in a very gruesome way.
Sabretooth’s Death
The first picture in the carousel of spoilers showcases our favorite Merc with a Mouth holding up the decapitated head of none other than Sabretooth, Wolverine’s arch nemesis. Another image features Wolverine in his blue and yellow suit throwing a pretty gnarly punch at the same villain, pre-decapitation. The images, which were taken on the set of Deadpool 3 confirm that not only will Sabretooth be in the upcoming threequel, but he will die in it as well.
Who Killed Sabretooth?
Even though the pictures are spoilers for Deadpool 3, it still leaves a lot of unanswered questions. For instance, even though the Crimson Comedian is the one holding up Sabretooth’s head, was he the one to chop it off? Is Sabretooth actually dead?
That second question might seem a bit silly considering that the guy’s head is literally dismembered from his body, but it’s a fair question considering what Deadpool 3 might be about. The film is anticipated to extend the narrative laid out in Deadpool 2 and appears to explore the multiverse-spanning occurrences featured in recent Marvel Cinematic Universe endeavors.
When the multiverse is involved, anything can happen. Pair that with the Mouthy Merc’s ability to break the fourth wall and his unconventional relationship with physics and really anything could happen in Deadpool 3.
Ryan Reynolds And Hugh Jackman Star In Deadpool 3
Ryan Reynolds will be reprising the titular role once again in Deadpool 3. Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman is returning to his iconic role as Logan/Wolverine for the first time since Logan in 2017. Although Deadpool 2 technically also threw a nod to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version of the character via a cameo appearance thanks to time travel.Reynolds and Jackman’s most recent collaboration featured them as Wolverine and the Merc With a Mouth in the very same X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which came out in 2009. However, Reynolds portrayed a significantly distinct iteration of the character in that film. Funnily enough, that abomination of a Deadpool will be returning to the big screen as one of the central antagonists in Deadpool 3.
Sabretooth In Marvel Movies
Sabretooth made his live-action debut in the original X-Men feature film in 2000, portrayed by Tyler Mane. The character later appeared in X-Men Origins, played by Liev Schreiber. The actor portraying Sabretooth in Deadpool 3 is currently unknown, leading to online speculation about the potential involvement of both Tyler Mane and Liev Schreiber.
Deadpool 3’s Release Date
Deadpool 3 comes out on July 26, 2024. Many are speculating that this film is going to be a big deal for Disney, setting up major events for the future of the MCU. Whether that’s true or not, one thing is for sure—we can’t wait to see what our favorite anti-hero gets up to next.
