See Sofia Vergara In Her Sexiest Halloween Costumes
Sofia Vergara took to Instagram to share pictures of her sexiest Halloween costumes from recent years.
It’s Halloween and everyone is getting into the spooky spirit, including Sofia Vergara, who took to Instagram to give us a throwback of some of her best Halloween outfits over the years. Unfortunately, as Vergara says in her post, she doesn’t have any of the costumes anymore to don this year. With that being said, we’re sure someone as resourceful and stylish as Vergara will come up with a costume equally as impressive as her previous looks.
Most of Sofia Vergara’s posts were from the Halloween episodes of her hit sitcom Modern Family, so those were probably the easiest to get since it was up to the costume department to get them for her. Her first pic is a true throwback as it shows Vergara in her flight attendant outfit from the 2004 film Soul Plane, which was one of her earliest roles. Still, being able to keep all of these costumes from her films and TV roles would certainly give her an impressive selection to choose from when Halloween does come around.
Perhaps Sofia Vergara will start saving some of her movie and TV costumes so she has them on hand for future Halloween weekends. Her next role will certainly be a scary one, albeit in a much more realistic way as she plays the real-life drug lord Griselda Blanco aka The Black Widow. Vergara will be portraying the role in a mini-series for Netflix that follows Blanco’s rise to power and how she became the woman who ran one of the most profitable cartels in history.
Griselda will feature many of the creatives and actors behind Netflix’s critically acclaimed Narcos, so this should be a home run for the streaming platform. Along with Sofia Vergara, the series will star Vanessa Ferlito, Juliana Aiden Martinez, Alberto Guerra, Alberto Ammann, Christian Tappan, Diego Trujillo, Paulina Davila, Gabriel Sloyer, Martin Rodriguez, Jose Zuniga, Maximiliano Hernandez, and Julieth Restrepo. Andres Baiz directs with Ingrid Escajeda serving as showrunner.
Griselda should give Sofia Vergara the chance to flex her dramatic chops for the first time in a while. While Modern Family certainly had some serious moments, it was a sitcom. Vergara did a fantastic job playing Gloria and even got multiple Emmy noms for her efforts, but Griselda will certainly be a much different project.
Undoubtedly, the upcoming Griselda series will also be compared to the upcoming Reed Morano-directed film The Godmother, which also chronicles the rise and fall of Griselda Blanco. In The Godmother, Jennifer Lopez will be playing the notorious Blanco with a script from The Sopranos writer Terence Winter and Deadwood writer Regina Corrado. It’ll be interesting to see how Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Vergara choose to portray the character.
While we don’t have a release date yet for Sofia Vergara’s upcoming drug lord Netflix series, she can most recently be seen as a judge on America’s Got Talent, which aired its season 17 finale in September. While we wait for Griselda, it seems like we’ll just need to keep looking to Vergara’s Instagram to keep up with the star. Fortunately, she’s a master of social media, so that’s plenty of entertainment for now.
