John Mulaney celebrated the release of his new Netflix comedy special this week while his girlfriend, Olivia Munn, was celebrating in Vegas. The former G4 host shared the experience with fans on Instagram, from showing her son his dad’s comedy poster to playing at the pool and showing off a tiny bikini. The 42-year-old X-Men star looks like she’s having the time of her life on vacation.

Seeing the former Attack of the Show host enjoying life is a good change of pace from just a few years ago when she was accusing X-Men: The Last Stand director Brett Ratner of sexual harassment. Olivia Munn’s son with John Mulaney is her first child, and if her social media accounts are anything to go by, she’s spending most of her time with him and can’t be happier. The drawback for fans of the actress is that she won’t be on-screen nearly as often.

Since leaving Attack of the Show in 2010, Olivia Munn has appeared in a wide variety of projects, most notably the short-lived sitcom Perfect Couples and the Aaron Sorkin drama, The Newsroom, playing socially awkward economist Sloan Sabbith. Starring Jeff Bridges, Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel, and Sam Waterston, the HBO drama only aired 25 episodes. Still, it achieved internet immortality when Bridges’ character, news anchor Will McAvoy, answered a panel question about America.

Olivia Munn is no stranger to the internet from cutting her teeth on the gaming network G4, when social media was in its infancy. Fan casting online for the role of Psylocke in Fox’s X-Men movies was partially responsible for her landing the role in X-Men: Apocalypse. While the film itself failed to impress anyone, Munn’s role as Psylocke was called out for being severely underwritten and not taking full advantage of the star’s talents, even if she was forced into the one comic-accurate outfit in the entire franchise.

A few years earlier, Olivia Munn earned acclaim for her role as Channing Tatum‘s love interest in Magic Mike, proving she can bring to life a multi-dimensional character capable of standing toe-to-toe with the men on screen. No role since has earned her the respect of the credits as her time on Steven Soderbergh’s hit film, but she kept working for years, even adding some voice work to her steadily growing resume.

Going back to comics brought Olivia Munn her most prominent role this decade, voicing Lady Bullseye on the Hulu animated series, Hit-Monkey, based on one of the most obscure Marvel Comic characters. Renewed late last year for a second season, the series also featured the voices of George Takei, Jason Sudeikis, Ally Maki, and Fred Tatasciore. In an undisclosed role, Saturday Night Live alumnus Leslie Jones is joining the cast for the upcoming season.

Outside of Hit-Monkey, the only other project Olivia Munn is attached to, according to her IMDb is Aleppo, a drama about a young boy trying to escape to Turkey after a terrorist attack kills his family.
