Kat McNamara lives up to her name as she basks in the sunlight like a cat on a windowsill. A new group of pics on the actress’s Instagram show the Walker: Independence star soaking up some rays in a sexy blazer and plain black shirt. Kat’s hair looks radiant as her golden locks reflect the sunlight giving the actress an ethereal look.
The first picture in the series features McNamara with her eyes closed, smiling as she absorbs the warmth of the sun. The second pic shows Kat looking more thoughtful as she looks away from the camera as if contemplating the meaning of life. It’s the third pic, though, that’s the real stunner.
Kat McNamara faces the camera directly, giving the viewer a sexy look of longing that’s sure to get anyone’s blood pumping. Kat is lit perfectly by the sun as she stares into the viewer’s eyes with her own perfect golden brown orbs. McNamara’s usual red hair practically glows in its new blonde incarnation, giving the actress an angelic presence.
The fourth picture in the group shows Kat’s playful side as the Shadowhunter‘s star pokes her tongue out the side of her mouth like her equally cute but furry namesake. Kat McNamara also made the feline connection as she captioned the photos “I will never not be a Kat in the sun… #SunnySunday…” followed by a cat emoji. McNamara is no stranger to catlike poses on her Instagram, often posting pics where she’s stretching or laid out in a very feline position.
Kat’s western adventure series Walker: Independence just wrapped up its first season and is waiting for a Season 2 pickup. The series is a prequel to Walker starring Jared Padalecki. Kat McNamara plays Abby Walker on the show alongside co-stars Matt Barr and Katie Findlay.
If the series isn’t renewed for a second season, it will be a shame, but Kat has plenty of other projects to keep her busy.
A quick perusal of Kat McNamara’s IMDb reveals the actress has no less than four upcoming projects in various stages of development. Fool’s Paradise is a rom-com starring Kat and several other stars, including John Malkovich and Edie Falco, to name a few. The movie marks the directorial debut of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Charlie Day.
Also marked completed and awaiting a release date is the horror short film Samaritan. The film stars Kat McNamara as a cautious woman using an app to track crime in her neighborhood only to have an alert reveal someone or something from her past is at large. The nailbiter short was directed by John Poliquin from a screenplay by Colin Minihan.
Kat McNamara is also connected to a rumored Urban Legend reboot that may or may not have been canceled. It’s hard to tell what is and is not being made in Hollywood these days, with complications from COVID-19 still making life miserable for studios left and right. If the horror remake does see the light of day, it will make an excellent addition to McNamara’s already impressive filmography.
Along with her acting gigs, Kat also has a commitment to her 4.1 million Instagram followers to continue posting mouthwatering pics and videos, a challenge the actress is more than up for if these recent photos are any indication.
