Kat McNamara never fails to make eyes pop and hearts beat faster. The latest spicy Instagram post from the Walker: Independence actress is no exception. Kat stuns in a teeny-weenie green bikini that covers just enough to titillate and tantalize fans of the blonde bombshell.
The post—a photo of Kat McNamara lying on her unbelievably flat stomach in the sand while waves threaten to lap at her feet—is one of the hottest the star has ever posted, and that’s saying a lot. Kat buries one perfect little tootsie in the sand and raises the other one into the air, all while giving the camera a playfully wicked smile. The star’s chest is thrust out, squeezed between the two immaculately toned arms.
It’s a downright perfect pic that wouldn’t be out of place in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue or hanging on the wall of a college dorm. Kat captioned the post, “…run away with me to the sand and the sea,” a proposition any of McNamara’s countless admirers would no doubt take her up on in a heartbeat. If they could catch their breath long enough to talk, that is.
The sexy, smiling beach photo is a good indication that the star isn’t letting the recent cancellation of her series Walker: Independence get her down. Independence was officially canceled earlier this year by the CW, but everyone involved with the show—including Kat McNamara held out hope that a different network or streamer would pick up the cult hit. Executive producer Jared Padalecki told TVLine at the time that he was “Aggressively looking for a place that Walker Independence can land.”
Unfortunately, it was confirmed earlier this month that efforts to relocate the series were unsuccessful and that, like a horse with a bum leg, Walker: Independence would be put down permanently. Judging by the look on Kat McNamara’s face in the above picture, it’s safe to say the star won’t be following her alter ego Abby Walker to the glue factory anytime soon. On the contrary, the bikini-clad buxom beach bunny looks like she’s living her best life, catching some sun and just going with the flow.
That doesn’t mean that the actress wasn’t still bummed out when she heard the news about Walker: Independence. Kat McNamara has gone on record as saying that the call she got from the show’s producers was “not the call we wanted to get,” however rather than sit and stew about the series cancellation, Kat chooses to remember the good experience she had making Walker: Independence and the lifelong friends she made on set.
“The show and the story will always have a special place in all of our hearts,” said McNamara before admitting that she and her co-stars “meant so much to each other.”
Thankfully, Kat McNamara had four million Instagram followers to cheer her up after Walker’s cancellation. In addition to her most recent green bikini pic, Kat has been consistently posting bangers, like a recent photo of her visit to an axe-throwing establishment where she hit a bullseye. Apparently, the actress isn’t just beautiful but also deadly.
Not that she needs an axe to kill. McNamara is perfectly capable of causing a heart attack with just a bikini and a smile.
