Actors Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox had a very public and very dysfunctional 11-year marriage. But through all of their ups and downs and struggles, they did produce three boys, the youngest being Journey River Green. So, let’s take a look at young Journey and see if, besides his two older brothers, he has any other siblings that need to be mentioned.

JOURNEY RIVER GREEN IS SIX YEARS OLD AND WAS BORN IN LOS ANGELES

Journey River Green was born in Los Angeles, California on August 4, 2016. While Journey’s birth wasn’t a surprise, the fact that his mother was pregnant for the third time with Brian Austin Green most definitely was a surprise, seeing as they continued to have a tumultuous relationship.

Journey River Green’s parents, who have a 13-year age gap between them, first announced the pregnancy in April of 2016, to more than a few raised eyebrows.

Later on that same month in 2016, Megan Fox stepped out at the Las Vegas CinemaCon, where she was on hand to promote her new movie at the time, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, with a very obvious baby bump.

MEGAN FOX AND BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN ARE SPLIT

What made the pregnancy announcement eyebrow-raising was the fact that in 2015, Megan Fox had filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green. At the time of the announcement, though, a source close to Green was insisting that Green and Fox’s split had been called off.

Since the time of the pregnancy announcement, Journey River Green’s parents had been spotted holding hands on a beach in Hawaii, the same one where the couple had been married in 2010. They had also been spotted a number of times out on the town where they cuddled up for a romantic dinner or two and also out celebrating Fox’s 30th (at the time) birthday. They were also seen at lunch outings with Journey River Green’s older brothers.

JOURNEY RIVER HAS THREE BROTHERS

When Journey River Green entered the world, he joined brothers Noah Shannon Green (now 10), and Bodhi Ransom Green (now 8). Journey River Green also has an even older brother, Kassius Lijah Marcil, who is now 20 years old, from Brian Austin Green’s relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil (General Hospital, Las Vegas). Those two met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Before Journey River Green joined his older brothers, there had been much talk surrounding Noah Shannon, as to how his father and mother were raising him.

They received lots of bad press when Noah was seen out and about with his parents wearing dresses. Megan Fox claims that Noah started wearing dresses around the age of two and when he did, Fox went out and purchased a bunch of books that covered what she felt her son was going through.

“Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want…” – Megan Fox on raising gender-neutral children

“Some of the books were written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want,” she explained via Good Morning America. “And that doesn’t even have to have anything to do with your sexuality.”

Fox continued. “So from the time they were very young, I’ve incorporated those things into their daily lives so that nobody feels like they are weird or strange or different.”

Fox also wanted to point out that clothes don’t make the person, especially when it comes to Journey River Green’s older brother. She says Noah is an exceptional pianist who “can learn Mozart’s concerto in an hour.” This is something she wishes people would see, but she also doesn’t “want the world to have access to this gentle soul and say all the things that we all know they’re going to say.”

“So I have a lot of worries about that, because I just wish that humanity was not like this,” she said. “Although my kid is so brave and my child is so brave and I know that they’ve chosen this journey for a reason. It’s just hard as a mom.”

Brian Austin Green has also come out defending his son. Back in 2017, Brian said, “My son, he’s four. I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them, I said, ‘I don’t care. He’s four and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it.’ It’s his life. They’re not my clothes. I feel like at four, at five, there’s a time when he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress, so if he wants to wear a dress, good on him.”

Austin Green has also defended his boys when it comes to their hair length. Back in 2020, Austin Green shared a picture of his boys, including Journey River Green, and captioned it “Target run.” The picture, which you can see below, shows Austin Green driving in his car with his three boys in the back seat, all three sporting really long hair. It’s actually a nice picture of all four.

Austin Green’s followers, though, were quick to take him to task about the length and appearance of his boys. It didn’t take Austin Green to fire right back at those making light of his boys’ appearance.

“I’ve read some of the comments here. I’m not saying anything is right or wrong. I think some people with different opinions are attacked because opinions usually start with the words ‘I think’ or something similar. When people state opinions as facts is when arguments happen,” Green wrote in the comments section of his posted picture.

“The fact is my boys have and like long hair,” he continued. “In my opinion, they are beautiful and will still be and possibly be mistaken for girls if they wore matching short and tshirt combos and had short hair. Some people like boys and men with long hair. Some people don’t. Both opinions are ok.”

Although Brian Austin Green enjoys a healthy relationship with Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom, and Journey River Green, the same couldn’t be said about Austin Green and his eldest son, Kassius Marcil.

From the time Austin Green separated from Vanessa Marcil, Austin Green has not been a large part of his eldest son’s life. Thankfully and recently, the waters between Brian and Vanessa have calmed and Kassius has since become a large part of his life. That is much to the pleasure of Kassius’ younger brothers, which can be seen in the Father’s Day picture below.

HE HAS ANOTHER BROTHER FROM BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN AND SHARNA BURGESS

Who says four boys are enough when you can have five? That’s exactly what Journey River Green got when his father began a relationship with his Dancing With The Stars partner, Sharna Burgess. The couple got people talking when they flew to Hawaii for a romantic getaway in December 2020 and then solidified the relationship when they announced in October 2021 that they were expecting a baby.

Now, Journey River Green is no longer the baby in the family, as Zane Walker Green was born on June 28, 2022.

They even celebrated with a wonderful picture of Sharna and the boys laying with Zane Walker on their bed.
