See Blake Lively In White-Hot Bikini Showing Off Skin For Summer
Blake Lively is doing what most of us should be doing, enjoying the last days of summer. The actress posted an image of herself in a white-hot bikini while soaking up the sun.
Blake Lively is a talented actress who has various accolades under her belt. Perhaps one of her more celebrated performances was in the 2018 film adaptation of Jessica Sharzer’s A Simple Favor. The actress recently shared a photo on Instagram of herself in a white-hot bikini by the pool. She’s showing off her skin for the summer and has proved no doubt that she keeps in shape. While summer may be coming to a close, Lively is still enjoying life under the sun:
The Age of Adeline actress sported a short-sleeved white bikini with a matching top and bottoms. The photo was shared just one day before her 35th birthday. The actress captioned the photo with “☀️summer lovin’ …had me a blast,” which is a reference to the popular “Summer Nights” song from Grease. The song was originally performed by late actress Olivia Newton-John. Blake Lively also tagged her husband, Ryan Reynolds, in the post. It’s unclear whether Reynolds was the one who took the photo and if she was just giving the Deadpool actor photo credit. The couple is heading towards a huge 10-year wedding anniversary. Their wedding reception was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings. Many fans commented on the photo, wishing the actress a happy birthday.
While Blake Lively is known for her film career, she also carries some music accolades as well. She directed the 2021 Taylor Swift music video, “I Bet You Think About Me,” which earned an Academy of Country Music Award nomination for Video of the Year. Lively and Reynolds are close friends with the famed country singer. Swift even named the characters in her video “Betty” after one of the couple’s three daughters. Lively also is a strong advocate for raising awareness for missing and exploited children.
The last major project that involved Blake Lively was the 2020 action thriller The Rhythm Section. The project was a bit of a 180 for the actress, who portrayed a darker character than what she’s used to playing. The film only managed to gross $2.8 million in its opening weekend, causing the studio to lose an estimated $30 to $40 million on the project. The film also didn’t perform well with critics, most of whom gave it a negative review. Lively worked alongside other talented performers, including Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown, and others. While the film received overall negative reviews, some critics praised Lively’s performance.
In April 2022, it was announced that Blake Lively would be making her feature film directing debut with the adaptation of the graphic novel Seconds by Bryan Lee O’ Malley. The story centers on a woman named Katie Clay, who discovers that she can fix her past mistakes by writing them down in a notebook, eating mushrooms, and falling asleep. The screenplay will be written by Edgar Wright, who also acts as producer. Lively’s experience directing the Taylor Swift music video could serve her well on what appears to be a small film. O’ Malley also wrote the Scott Pilgrim series, which Wright adapted into a movie in 2010.
