One of the most infuriating things that can happen is watching game modders use all manner of devices as psuedo controllers to beat hard bosses or levels in video games. Famed modder SuperLouis64 has once again done that exact thing while using an odd controller to take on one of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring. Using a series of wired bananas (we’re not kidding) the player took on and defeated the Elden Ring boss Godrick the Grafted in spectacular fashion, while also making it look easy. While we were not able to see this live stream of this, we caught the video on Twitter. You can see this ridiculous victory below:

This isn’t the first time in which a modder has rigged up some madness to beat a From Software game. A modder took on studio favorite Bloodborne, with only using a drum kit from the game Rock Band. If you happen to be like us and fail miserably at these games while using an actual controller, these extraordinary feats only make us feel that much worse about our own efforts to beat this studio’s difficult games. However, it does look hilarious watching someone beat the Elden Ring boss Godrick with just a bunch of wried bananas. This is not the first time in which Super Louis 64 used some sort of alternative controller as a means to show us how terrible we are at Elden Ring. Just days ago, he also used a Ring Fit Adventure controller while taking on the open-world enemies of the game.

Elden Ring is the newest From Software title that has been smashing records in the wake of its release. This week, the game became the sixth-highest concurrent played game on Steam all-time, pushing its concurrent players to one million. That is quite a feat. The game had also been scoring 10/10 critical scores during the early reviews before its release. Even with some mishaps on the PC side of things, the critic score for the game is at a whopping 96/100 on Metacritic. However, all these players might quit playing once they see this modder defeat Elden Ring boss Godrick the Grafted with just the usage of bananas. I mean, we kind of want to quit now.

Regardless of whether you have the technical ability to even wire bananas together to turn them into a controller of sorts, having this level of patience and boss-killing ability is impressive. The video shows the modder fighting this boss without taking any damage whatsoever, which is a difficult feat all its own. Accomplishing that while using bananas is a whole other level of skill. The outrage in the community might be palpable considering Super Louis 64 outshined everyone’s gaming ability by using a Ring Fit Adventure controller at first and then moved to bananas specifically for the Elden Ring boss Godrick the Grafted. Elden Ring is currently available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Fans of the From Software venture are claiming that this entry is the best that they have ever released, and some are calling this game one of the best open-world games ever made. Either way, go check it out for yourselves. Go bananas.
