Daredevil: Born Again star Vincent D’Onofrio is sending a message to fans – be patient. In a recent discourse with an upset fan and Twitter user, the actor teased the possibility that two beloved characters, Karen and Foggy may be making their way into the Disney+ series after all. In an emotionally-charged post, the Twitter user said that they wouldn’t be tuning in for the reboot if both characters weren’t a part of it to which D’Onofrio replied “Patience. Patience…” perhaps alluding to the idea that they may pop in after all.

Vincent D’Onofrio’s reply to a Twitter post seemingly hints that Daredevil‘s Karen and Foggy may appear in Born Again after all.

For those who may be unfamiliar, Karen Page, who was played by Deborah Ann Woll on the Netflix series, is one of Matt Murdock’s aka Daredevil’s love interests and works for Matt as his legal secretary. As for Foggy Nelson, the role of Matt’s best friend and law partner went to Elden Henson in the Netflix series.

While we know that Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox, along with several other cast members, will be along for the next chapter in Daredevil: Born Again, it has yet to be revealed if Foggy and Karen will make their way into this new telling, with previous reports alleging they didn’t make the cut.

Even though we know that along with Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox reprising their roles as Kingpin and Daredevil, respectively, Jon Bernthal will be back as Punisher with Sandrine Holt as Vanessa Fisk, Kingpin’s wife, there are quite a few names on the call sheet that could fill in the blank spaces for Karen, Foggy, and other missing characters from the comics.

Also starring in the series, in those undisclosed roles, are Nikki M. James, Michael Gandolfini, Michael Gaston, Margarita Levieva, Arty Froushan, and even the series’ director, Clark Johnson. With, at the very least, six extra actors appearing in some capacity, there’s no telling who else will grace audiences with their presence.

While we know that Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox, along with several other cast members, will be along for the next chapter in Daredevil: Born Again, it has yet to be revealed if Foggy and Karen will make their way into this new telling.

After running for three seasons on Netflix, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Daredevil and similar Marvel-based titles like it received the axe from the streamer. Fans never stopped dreaming of the day when Matt Murdoch would return to fight more crime on the streets of New York City and their voices were finally heard when Marvel and Disney+ announced that a new series, Daredevil: Born Again would join the lineup for a roll-out of programming.

While audiences spotted Charlie Cox’s hero in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Disney+ series, Echo brought Vincent D’Onofrio’s bad guy back into the fold, cementing a pathway toward the characters’ return to the small screen.

Daredevil: Born Again Delayed

With the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike in full swing, Daredevil: Born Again is just one of many productions that have halted with actors like Vincent D’Onofrio taking to the picket lines alongside fellow union members. Although the studios have been talking a big (and toxic) game of allowing things to continue until those striking lose their homes, they’ll soon be the ones hemorrhaging money as titles like not only Daredevil: Born Again but also Deadpool 3 and Andor see their opening dates pushed back.

With so much up in the air surrounding what lies ahead for the story about to be told in Born Again, there’s no telling what characters could help mold the story in one of Disney+’s latest series.
