See Lupita Nyong’o’s Stunning Look In New Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Images
New images of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been released, which show Lupita Nyong'o looking stunning.
The excitement for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is quite high, as the next MCU entry is mere two months from being released in theaters. Through the trailers alone, fans have been clamoring to see more returning characters like Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Lupita Nyong’o. Now, that wish has been granted as more images from the upcoming Marvel movie have been released, showcasing a stunning look at Nyongo’o in white garb.
We know that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is meant to be a huge tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who took on the role of T’Challa. Based on the trailer, there is meant to be a funeral of sorts, or a celebration as many of the characters are all dressed in white. The above image shows Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, though she looks spectacular in all white. We do get to see M’Baku’s new costume as well, complete with the gorilla chest plate that looks quite fierce.
There are many theories surrounding Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, one being the importance of Namor and the Atlanteans. Tenoch Huerta recently revealed that Namor is going to appear as a mutant in the movie, which is great considering the character held mutant origins in the comics as well. Also, we still do not know who is going to be the next Black Panther, though we would assume Shuri is meant to take on the role, though Lupita Nyong’o is also a strong candidate.
Shuri does have a distinct face paint when she goes into battle, which was shown on the new Black Panther costume via a Funko Pop toy recently, though it is not a confirmation that she takes on the coveted role for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel could always pull a fast one and cast Lupita Nyonog’o in the role. While this is just speculation, we would be happy to see her take the honor of being the next Black Panther.
One of the more interesting images is of Angela Bassett’s Ramonda standing next to what appears to be Riri Williams, portrayed by Dominique Thorne. We know that Williams is going to be introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before she transforms herself into Ironheart. Thorne and Bassett seem to be locked in an intense moment as their respective characters.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever looks spectacular, as do all the costume changes and above images that are shown. Every character has deep connections in this film, as they are mourning the loss of T’Challa while also getting into a battle that involves the Atlanteans. We clearly do not know exactly what happens in the film, but we are more than excited to see what directed Ryan Coogler has cooked up this time.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever officially debuts on November 11, 2022. The MCU film is set to be one of the final entries of Phase 4, so we can expect some huge cameos to happen in the film. We also get to find out of Namor will be a friend or foe, though it looks like he could be on the anti-hero side of things from the trailers. We can’t wait to see what happens in this movie.
