Social media has drastically altered the landscape of our culture. Facebook, Twitter, and others can be a way to keep in touch with distant friends, a communal experience in times of crisis, or simply a window into the tedious day-to-day lives most of us lead. It has also allowed us to connect with celebrities we admire, and often provides us a look into their creative process (at least for those who have a creative process and aren’t simply famous for being famous).
