The Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to take on an even deeper multiverse threat, even more so than the events that took place in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness dropped during the Super Bowl and the frantic fans flocked to the trailer to begin finding every Easter egg they could spot. After a few days, a screenshot shows what appears to be America Chavez and Doctor Strange battling with none other than Marvel dinosaurs. We exclusively reported this news eight months ago, and now it appears as if dinosaurs are headed to the MCU much sooner than anticipated, confirming our early report from our trusted and proven inside source.

Some might be wondering how and why there would be Marvel dinosaurs, but the fact is that dinos have been an integral part of Marvel comics since the 1940s. That and one of the biggest Marvel superheroes stakes his claim in the Savage Land: Ka-Zar. Ka-Zar is also known as David Rand. Rand was stranded in the jungle when the plane carrying his family crashed, and much like Tarzan, he learned to survive by the laws of the jungle. The Savage Land is a Marvel staple, much like Wakanda is. Ka-Zar isn’t the only Marvel hero that has entered the Savage Land. It has deep ties to the X-Men and even Spider-Man has been known to pop up there.

With the new Doctor Strange trailer showing off the steep consequences of altering the multiverse, it would make sense that Marvel dinosaurs and the Savage Land would be one of the places in which they visit. This news is strongly supported by the quick showing of the back of Professor Xavier’s head and hearing his voice. Why would the Savage Land make sense? Well, if there is Professor Xavier there is sure to be Magneto. Guess who called the Savage Land his home at one point? Yup. Magneto. It sounds as if both Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen are possibly going to be reprising their roles.

The multiverse can incorporate many storylines all in one, as there are plenty of universes to pull from, and the Savage Land is just another place in which Marvel dinosaurs and heroes have inhabited. Should this spawn a Ka-Zar movie has yet to be revealed, though fans have been asking for quite some time if the wild hero would appear in some fashion. There are also plenty of other heroes that could go toe to toe with some dinosaurs. Just imagine seeing The Hulk take on a T-Rex.

Marvel dinosaurs might not be the biggest threat to The Avengers, but it doesn’t mean that we wouldn’t all want to see those fights go down. Jurassic Park and MCU cross over anyone? Chris Pratt could play Star-Lord while also seeing himself play Owen Grady. Now that would be some fantastic meta action.

The multiverse is going to be the biggest aspect of all things Marvel going forward, and it appears as if incorporating Marvel dinosaurs is at the top of the list for most ambitious additions. I wonder if Wong is going to stick around this time, or if he bails once he sees a Velociraptor.
