Nothing gets your blood pumping like running for your life from zombies. That’s why Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout was released in 1990, and, according to Bloody Disgusting, why it’s available to own on Blu-ray starting now. If you pre-order your copy from Terror Vision, you can expect your horrifying workout video to be shipped on May 1st.

Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout was a spoof of the stereotypical bright, cheerful workout videos that were exploding in popularity in the 80s and 90s. It stars Linnea Quigley (previously dubbed the “Queen of Scream” for her roles in horror films) in an adventure that is equal parts scary and hilarious.

Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout begins as Linnea is just trying to go for a jog, and suddenly zombies appear and kick the workout up a few notches. Later, a stereotypically sexy sleepover turns into a terrifying event to get pulses pounding even more.

IMDb describes the film in a bit more detail, pointing out that the zombies that try to follow Linnea Quigley in Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout are on the flabbier side, so she decides to try to help them get in shape with an aerobic workout by the pool, as one does.

After all that stress, Linnea then decides to invite the girls over for a slumber party and a workout routine, only to be interrupted by more intruders.

As if that weren’t fun enough, the Blu-ray release of Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout also includes loads of special features, like “Fit to Kill,” an interview with Linnea Quigley herself, as well as interviews with Kenneth J. Hall and Cynthia Garris about particularly iconic moments in the movie.

Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout also includes new commentary by Linnea Quigley and Kenneth J. Hall with moderation by Brad Henderson of Terror Vision, along with archival commentary from the original release of the video and a “making-of” featurette that was included in the video’s first release.

But wait, that’s not all! The Blu-ray version of Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout comes with both the original master with 2.0 audio, a newly created master from the master tapes, and a new 5.1 mix from those tapes. It has an amazing new trailer, so you can convince all your friends to give it a watch.

Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout will run you $24.99 and give you two versions of the film so you can sweat off those pounds and get in great shape. The video is fun, but it is also useful for those tired of those cookie-cutter workout videos from the 1990s that all seem the same (or even those “influencer” workouts from TikTok and YouTube today). Sometimes, you need something new to shake things up to get a good workout and stay invested in your exercise routine. And zombies are definitely a good way to shake things up!

While workout videos like the ones being spoofed by Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout aren’t really a fad anymore these days, this Blu-ray will still make a great collector’s item – and a great conversation piece at your next sexy slumber party.
