People may know Kat McNamara for playing a vengeful frontierswoman on Walker: Independence or a superhero on Arrow, but she’s just as at home on a red carpet in real life. McNamara took to Instagram to show her Lady Liberty-esque gown at The Creative Coalition’s annual gala in Washington DC. Take a look at the post below:

Not only does Kat McNamara look stunning here, but she’s looking stunning for a good cause. The Creative Coalition is a non-profit that was put together to advocate for the arts. The Gala was co-hosted by actor and President of The Creative Coalition Tim Daly and Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk, with other stars like Rachel Bloom, Gloria Calderón Kellett, Yvette Nicole Brown, Grace Caroline Currey, Billy Eichner,  Judy Gold,  Justin Hartley, Emma Kenney, Wendie Malick, Sofia Pernas, Raegan Revord, Cobie Smulders, Emily Swallow, and BD Wong also in attendance.

When Kat McNamara isn’t attending star-studded charity events, she’s likely working on one of her upcoming projects. The one that we’ll get to see first is the Charlie Day film Fool’s Paradise, which is set to come out May 12. Fool’s Paradise has been delayed for a while now, with Day making significant rewrites after Guillermo del Toro suggested some changes, so it’s good that we’re finally getting to see this comedy.

Fool’s Paradise is written and directed by Day, who also stars as a man recently released from a mental health facility. His astonishing resemblance to a famously difficult method actor leads a down-on-his-luck publicist (Ken Jeong) to turn him into a major celebrity. Along with Day, Jeong, and Kat McNamara, the film stars Adrien Brody, Kate Beckinsale, Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman, Travis Fimmel, Jillian Bell, Jimmi Simpson, John Malkovich, Alanna Ubach, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Glenn Howerton, Dean Norris, Edie Falco, Lance Barber, and the late Ray Liotta in one of his final performances.

Kat McNamara will also have a role in the upcoming martial arts film Jade, which is directed by James Bamford from a screenplay he co-wrote with Lynn Colliar and Glenn Ennis. The film follows Layla, a woman who must protect a hard drive, and another woman carrying Layla’s brother’s unborn child from a powerful businessman and a gang leader. Shaina West stars in the titular role alongside Mickey Rourke, Mark Dacascos, Steven Michael Quezada, and Keith Jardine.

Kat McNamara is also being eyed for the Urban Legend reboot along with Sydney Chandler and Keith Powers. The movie is set to take the story. to the digital age, with a group of college kids navigating a series of deaths that are linked to urban legends on the Internet. Colin Minihan is attached to write and direct the reboot.

Fans can look forward to seeing Kat McNamara in Charlie Day’s Fool’s Paradise in a couple of weeks, but there’s no word yet if we can expect to see her return for a second season of her Walker: Independence show on the CW. Warner Bros. Discovery cut down on a lot of the CW lineup, so the future of the series remains uncertain for now. We’ll keep you updated on this and other upcoming projects from McNamara in the meantime.
