Kirsten Dunst Marries Breaking Bad Star
There is nothing better than a power couple, and Kirsten Dunst finally married her long-time partner, who happens to be a star from Breaking Bad.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons of Breaking Bad fame were both in The Power of the Dog. In fact, both were nominated for an Oscar for their parts in the film. Dunst was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and Plemons for Best Supporting Actor. That is not all for the power couple, as it has been announced that they have been married after spending the last six years with one another. Dunst and Plemons tied the knot in Jamaica this past weekend.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons just welcomed their first child with one another in 2018. Their son Ennis Howard Plemons was then joined by a brother named James Robert in September of 2021. The happy family is clearly flourishing, and their wedding to one another was certainly a long time coming, as it had been known the pair were engaged five years ago. Jesse had proposed a year after meeting Dunst, but their schedules likely did not allow for time to be spent with a wedding and honeymoon, especially with having two small children. Now, it appears as if things have finally matched up, and the pair were finally able to say their vows.
Kirsten Dunst hasn’t been as active as her now-husband has been. Apart from appearing in The Power of the Dog, she has only appeared in one other film since 2017. The actress has spent the better part of the last 25 years in front of a camera. She likely slowed down quite a bit to take care of her children and take a well-deserved break. However, she is set to star in Civil War, which could be an epic about that infamous American war. The film is being helmed by Alex Garland, who famously wrote Ex Machina and 28 Days Later. Jesse Plemons has been quite busy himself, as the man appeared in four different films that were released in 2021. Judas and the Black Messiah, Jungle Cruise, The Power of the Dog, and Antlers were all films that saw Plemons star. He has built himself into quite the actor. He is also set to join Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the new Martin Scorsese epic, Killers of the Flower Moon.
It is the usual case to see Hollywood couples break up and get new partners, and it is not often that we get to see a relationship last in the business, especially among actors and actresses. It is nice to see Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons both flourishing in their careers and as a couple. They will both continue to go far in their lives.
Hopefully, both Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons were given enough time to enjoy each other’s company before getting back to work. Both of their upcoming films are in the post-production stages, so it is likely they were able to take a break and enjoy the post-wedding activities they rightfully deserve. Also, it would be great to see them both win an Academy Award in the near future, especially after both being nominated for one.
