Kate Beckinsale appears to like a few different things in this world. A couple of them are posting on Instagram and hanging out with her pets. There are times when those two things collide and we get the actress posting how she interacts with her dogs, cats, and even fox that seem to be hanging around the house. Recently, Beckinsale posted a picture of her hanging out at the pool, floating around with her cat along for the ride. It’s not your typical way to lounge around, but Beckinsale has shown time and again that she isn’t exactly all about that normal life. This latest video has her in a black bikini, laying out in the sun on a pool inflatable while the cat tries to figure out just what the hell is going on. Is this your normal pool scene? Of course not. Most of us don’t bring pets into the mix when deciding to just lounge around and relax during the day. But in this way, Kate Beckinsale isn’t like the rest of us. She’s happy to hang with her cat, something we’ve seen many times over the course of her Instagram feed. Sometimes it can get pretty out there, but it’s clear these pets are important in her life. For me, I’d be more worried about whether the claws were going to come out and pop the red inflatable while floating around the middle of the pool. But Kate Beckinsale doesn’t seem to have the same kinds of concerns. In fact, judging by this sexy video, she doesn’t seem to be worried about much of anything.
Kate Beckinsale has a massive Instagram following, well over 5.4 million on the social media platform and there were plenty of folks who rang in about this most recent video. At the time of this writing, the post had more than 73,000 likes. Among some of the celebrities who offered their love were Paris Hilton and Dax Shepard. The latter wondered if the cat was dressed in duct tape for the pool experience. It sure looks that way, though it’s more likely some kind of float piece to make sure the cat doesn’t catch it if the whole raft capsizes.
And again, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen an animal or two on the Kate Beckinsale Instagram feed. In recent posts we’ve seen the cat show up in a variety of poses and situations with the actress clearly spending a lot of time with this pet. And there was also a series of posts that had her feeding a fox in the backyard. Whether that one was kept as a long-term pet isn’t totally clear. But there was definitely a point at which Beckinsale was caring for it and feeding it.
On the acting side, Kate Beckinsale is staying plenty busy. She’s wrapped up her series Guilty Party, but there are a few movies coming down the pike in the next couple of years. There’s El Tonto, The Prisoner’s Daughter, and Canary Black which are all at various stages in production.
