See Brie Larson In A Red Lace, Plunging Neckline Dress

When Brie Larson suits up in a colorful costume, you might think she is gearing up to fight some Marvel Cinematic Universe bad guys as Captain Marvel. However, we won’t see the return of that powerful hero until The Marvels releases later this year (plus, Fast X too). Until then, you’ll have to content yourself with these images of Larson in a red lace, plunging neckline dress as she presents awards at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards.
As Brie Larson points out in her post, she attended the FLAs so that she could present Kate and Laura Mulleavy with the prestigious award for Designers of the Year. As usual, Larson’s Instagram post credits the stylists and makeup artists that helped her look her best for the big event. As for the designers in question, not only did Larson shout them out by name, but she also wore the duo’s provocative red and black design for the event.
The design of Brie Larson’s outfit seems very different from what we’d normally see in the MCU. For example, the lacy design of it as well as the high shoulders give the dress a regal look, as if she is a queen about to issue judgment upon her servants. Of course, this Marvel hero is busting out of this particular dress in a way that would scandalize actual royalty, though no one at the FLAs made any complaints (probably because it’s difficult to look someone in the eyes and chastise them for looking too hot).
Thanks to Brie Larson posting multiple photos, we got to see this exciting dress from multiple angles. The first image shows her posting in what appears to be a home or hotel room, but later images show her posting on the red carpet and even posing in what appears to be a very natural area filled with grass and plants. Between these solo images, though, Larson also gave us a valuable glimpse of what it was like to attend this very exclusive event.
For example, we see Brie Larson posing for a more formal picture with the two designers of honor. They look a bit more uncomfortable on the red carpet than Hollywood star Larson does, but everyone is much more comfortable in the picture where they are sitting inside, waiting for the ceremony to begin. This particular photo is cute because the two designers are giving nervous smiles while Larson is giving a manic, one-eyed grin as she tries to hype them up ahead of winning the big award.
As always, we appreciated these photos from Brie Larson because the MCU star never stoops to posting basic thirst traps or meaningless promotional posts. Instead, she always gives us an interesting look into the life of a movie star from behind the scenes, and it’s fun to experience some of these glamorous events vicariously through the pictures that she shares. Here’s hoping that she gets to serve up more hot looks like this when The Marvels drops on November 10, and we’d certainly like to nominate this dress to become her new uniform in the MCU.
