Just days after setting Instagram on fire in a dazzling black bikini, Kate Beckinsale has brought back the star of her social media handle- her grumpy-looking adorable cat, Clive. If you are one of those loyal followers of the actress’ Instagram page, you are already well-acquainted with the Jolt star’s favorite posing partner in her posts. And this time, the duo is seen celebrating Christmas in their usual style until….a hopping reindeer pops in!

In her recent post, which is a brief video, Kate Beckinsale is seen sitting in front of a fire, staring at the camera seductively. Clive is decked in a cute Santa costume and sporting his usual no-nonsense expression while posing majestically. Suddenly, someone (either it’s her daughter Lily or perhaps a “secret” boyfriend) enters the frame wearing a reindeer costume and hilariously dances as Beckinsale tries and fails to contain her laughter. But Clive, being the king he is, is cool as a cucumber as always. Check out the post below:

Kate Beckinsale’s social media pages are always bubbling with activity and when she is not posting funny posts with her partner-in-crime, Clive, she is busy oozing her usual charm. One of her most recent posts, as mentioned above, features the actress looking like a million bucks in a black bikini and showing off her toned physique while her friend/makeup artist Chase Aston posed on the floor. The post was a warm tribute from Beckinsale to Aston on his birthday.

As for Kate Beckinsale’s cinematic presence in front of the camera, the actress has been keeping busy. The year 2021 saw the actress starring in the action-comedy Jolt, alongside Laverne Cox, Stanley Tucci, Bobby Cannavale, and Jai Courtney. Directed by Tanya Wexler and based on a screenplay by Scott Wascha, the Amazon Studios film saw Beckinsale as Lindy Lewis, a bouncer suffering from a behavioral disorder because of which she undergoes brief periods of explosive anger and violence. But her anger management takes a serious hit after she embarks on a hunt for the killer who murdered her friend.

Kate Beckinsale’s next 2021 project, wherein she also served as the executive producer, was the Paramount+ dark comedy series Guilty Party. Directed by Trent O’Donnell and based on a script by Rebecca Addelman, the series’ cast also included Geoff Stults, Alanna Ubach, Laurie Davidson, Jules Latimer, Tiya Sircar, and Andre Hyland. The actress played the role of a disgraced journalist Beth Burgess whose life takes a drastic turn when she decides to focus on a story about a woman vehemently denying that she murdered her husband.

Her upcoming projects include the family drama Prisoner’s Daughter, to be helmed by Catherine Hardwicke and penned by Mark Bacci. As reported by Deadline, the film will tell the story of an ex-con who will be seen striving to reconnect with his only daughter, Maxine (Kate Beckinsale) and her young son. But his violent history soon threatens his chance at getting back to his family. Beckinsale has also joined the cast of the upcoming comedy film, El Tonto, by Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
