The Controversial Streaming Series That Is #1 Thanks To Nudity

Naked Attraction

There’s plenty in store for new viewers of the controversial streaming series Naked Attraction on Max, says Decider. The show’s title says a lot about the content of the series. The preface of the show is built around one single individual choosing from six individuals, but the choice is made purely on physical aesthetic … naked aesthetic, that is.

It sounds like a parody, but HBO’s latest hit, Naked Attraction, is a dating show that goes the full monty.

That’s right. Six people, wearing only their birthday suits, stand in colored boxes while each part of them is revealed in various segments of each episode. The single person judging the six prospects eliminates options until only two men or women are left standing. Then, the person looking to choose a date on Naked Attraction also bears all in a naked final proposal to the one prospect they find most appealing.

The show originated in the U.K. and snuck into the Max lineup this week to make its streaming debut in the United States. The nudity in the show has proven shocking among U.S. influencers like The View’s, Sunny Hostin, and the stars of Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who all made comments regarding the nature of Naked Attraction on their shows this week.

Beyond showing off bare bodies, Naked Attraction also includes educational tidbits in between all the other bits.

The nudity on Naked Attraction is unlike any other show streaming in the U.S. today. The nudity is not like what you see on Naked and Afraid, with blurry boxes blotting out the “private” parts of the contestant. Instead, viewers are able to see every part of each contestant’s body in detail.

There are close-ups every step of the way, ending with the participants being fully dressed. The show’s first episode even grants viewers the sight of a man with an elephant tattoo, which hosts his “package” as the trunk of the animal. Nothing is left unseen on Naked Attraction

Surprisingly, you may find that the physical facts stated in between shots of all the nakedness are the most interesting part of the whole show. It’s not solely based on nudity, as the show host does an excellent job of adding knowledge to the table.

Because Naked Attraction is only available on Max, there is no censoring, pixelation, and only a little tasteful framing.

For instance, the first episode teaches viewers that women are often attracted to men with muscular bottoms. A firm bottom shows that the man is fit for the hunt and is likely to have excellent mating abilities. The host also teaches viewers that symmetry is an important part of physical attraction.

Participants of the show have to have a thick skin to take part in the series, as no topic of conversation is off the table. The critique of each individual body on Naked Attraction is detailed, and not all statements made are positive ones.

This is not a show you’ll want the kids to be around to watch, as it is dealing with some straightforward adult content. However, the show is done in good taste. It’s not raunchy or disrespectful at its core, and viewers really can learn a few things about the human body and human attraction.

Check it out, and form your own opinion on the show’s content. Naked Attraction is now streaming all six seasons on Max for those with a subscription to the channel.
