Better Call Saul is arguably the best show that is currently on TV. Well, it’s on TV and streaming, but still. The series has been a huge hit, almost on par with how huge Breaking Bad was when it came out as well. The series has emerged as a massively successful prequel that has truly brought out the best in Bob Odenkirk. Sadly, there is one final season that is going to take place. However, not all is sad on that new front. It has been reported that television legend, Carol Burnett, is going to be part of the final season of the prequel series.

Carol Burnett is set to play a character named Marion, though it has not been revealed what relation she will have to the main characters. Burnett commented on her chance to be part of Better Call Saul. According to Burnett, “I’m thrilled to be a part of my favorite show.” That has to feel good for Bob Odenkirk and anyone who has worked on this show, as Burnett has been one of the most ground-breaking and influential members of the television community. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are both going to be reprising their roles in the sixth and final season of the series, which will see Jimmy McGill fully transform into the seedy lawyer, Saul Goodman.

Carol Burnett famously hosted her own show called The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1978. She was one of the first women in show business to lead her own show. Though she has not appeared on TV for some time, Burnett seems to be going through a bit of a career revival in having recurring roles. She is set to star alongside Kristen Wiig in the AppleTV+ series, Mr. and Mrs. American Pie. Now she is going to be part of Better Call Saul. We are more than excited to see what her character is going to bring to the table.

Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito. The sixth and final season is set to debut on AMC and AMC+ on Monday, July 11th at 9 PM. The series finale will happen on August 15th. The prequel series has been leading up to the point in which we see the classic characters of Breaking Bad finally engage in the events of Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad is arguably the best television series ever created, and Better Call Saul is making its case for that designation as well. Adding Carol Burnett is certainly going to help the show’s case for being legendary.

Carol Burnett joins Bob Odenkirk, Bryan Cranston, and Aaron Paul in what is going to be a drama-filled end to one of the best shows ever written. Better Call Saul will go down as another massive success for Vince Gilligan. He created Breaking Bad and the off-shoot movie that extended Jesse Pinkman’s story, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. He has truly built a universe that fans have been flocking to for years. We can’t wait to see how everything ends. Or rather, we can’t wait to see how it comes together.
