Tiffany Haddish Responds To The Grooming Accusations Against Her
Tiffany Haddish is currently involved in a lawsuit that has accused her of grooming, and now the comedian has responded to those accusations.
Comedian Tiffany Haddish is currently in an ongoing lawsuit that has pinned her to some horrific claims of grooming including getting two minors to film an explicit sketch in 2013 and 2014. This has led the internet to go wild with backlash against her and Aries Spears, who is another comedian named in the lawsuit that was part of the sketches with Haddish. Now, another clip from a past Haddish stand-up clip has emerged, fueling the fire to the idea that she could have been involved in grooming. The clip shows Haddish speaking about her coworkers bringing their young sons to work and Haddish taking a liking to them. Haddish has now responded to the video stating, “I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”
Tiffany Haddish has stated that these accusations are a “shakedown” which is a sentiment that is being shared by Spears’s legal team as well. However, the above comments made by Haddish about this sketch seem to point to the sketch having taken place. The filmed sketch was called “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes” and shows Haddish allegedly teaching an underage girl how to mimic fellatio. The video had allegedly been shot for Funny or Die, the comedy company founded by Will Ferrell. The company has since released a statement about the sketch, stating that “We were not involved with the conceptualization, development, funding, or production of this video.” The company also stated that the video in question was user uploaded and taken down in 2018 after the company heard what the video was comprised of
Tiffany Haddish responded to the alleged explicit sketch that she and Aries Spears filmed. She added, “But clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. This is certainly not a great place for Tiffany Haddish to be in. She is being accused of grooming a young boy and girl, and now she is shown making a joke about trying to flirt with young boys in a stand-up comedy bit. Naturally, many would initially take this as a joke, but these allegations against her have made this clip take on a whole new meaning. Both Haddish and Spears have had their attorneys speak about these allegations, stating they are false and without merit. However, both comedians are accused of gross negligence, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor. These are some serious accusations, and both would be subject to some severe punishment if they are found to be true in any way.
Tiffany Haddish is certainly in a lot of trouble, and even if the accusations about her grooming are not true, the sketch being filmed did certainly happen. She will be forced to receive some huge punishment for that alone, which could lead to her career being completely ruined.
