Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are currently starring together in a movie that has opened very strong a the box office and is receiving some critical love as well. But before they shared the big screen together, the two had a meeting in a very different venue for a very different reason. It appears that Bullock and Tatum were both called to the principal’s office of their kids’ preschool because each of their respective daughters had been involved in a fight with each other. They needed to work with the school to figure out a way for the two kids to get along.

Both Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden while doing publicity for their newest movie The Lost City. During the talk (via Huffpost), the two discussed how their daughters had been involved in a preschool fight years before and the parents needed to get involved. Apparently, it’s all kind of a joke at this point and never sounded too serious, to begin with even at the time. Check out the video with the two discussing the incident and how the school decided to move on with both girls getting along better. The pair meeting in the principal’s office is talked about nearly right away.

It sure seems like this is all water under the bridge of course, and never appeared to be all that big a deal, to begin with. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum were both able to laugh about it pretty easily. And it sure seems like they get along pretty well as evidenced by their latest movie, The Lost City which is performing well at the box office and with critics alike. It had a strong opening weekend, earning more than $11 million on Friday, its opening night. And it is sitting at 76% on Rotten Tomatoes as well with critics saying the two leads play off each other hilariously against the backdrop of a very silly, but entertaining story.

In The Lost City, Sandra Bullock plays Loretta Sage, a romance novelist who leads a pretty insular and boring life. Channing Tatum plays Alan Caprison, the dimwitted model who graces the cover of her books. When Daniel Radcliffe’s Abigail Fairfax thinks that one of Sage’s fictional books actually contains the secrets to a real lost city, he kidnaps her and takes her to the jungle. It’s here that Alan tries to prove his worth by rescuing her and comedy ensues. We even get a Brad Pitt sighting as a military operative who’s been tasked with extracting Bullock’s character.

Fans of Sandra Bullock might want to catch her in this movie while they can. That’s because she’s planning to take a step back from acting over the next couple of years in order to spend more time with her family. She’ll have a role with Brad Pitt again in the upcoming Bullet Train which looks like just the kind of action comedy film that could really thrive in theaters. But after that, there is nothing on the acting docket.
