Brie Larson works out hard. The actress has shared a lot of her impressive, grueling exercise process for followers on social media, but it looks like Larson follows the philosophy of “Work hard, play hard” — or at least, eat hard. The actress recently went to an acclaimed restaurant, and the experience was so fulfilling it inspired her to pose for a fun photo in a gorgeous mini-skirt.

The woman who brings Captain Marvel to life posted the new photo to her Instagram yesterday. While her location isn’t shown, there’s a good chance Brie Larson is in the UK. For one, unconfirmed reports say The Marvels wrapped filming last week, per ScreenRant, and one of the upcoming sequel’s production locations was Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, near London. For another, Larson’s caption reads, “How it feels after eating at restaurant @gordongram.” While the famous gourmet curmudgeon Gordon Ramsay has restaurants all over the place, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is in Chelsea, London. You can see the pose resulting from Larson’s apparently inspiring meal below, or check out the post itself.

Brie Larson was supposed to be appearing on the big screen in The Marvels — the sequel to the 2019 smash hit Captain Marvel — next November.  Unfortunately, like most of Marvel’s post-2021 film slate The Marvels was pushed back. Instead of November 2022, The Marvels is now scheduled to be released February 17, 2023 with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever taking the November 2022 slot. Brie Larson will reprise the role Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury. Teyonah Parris will reprise the role of the newly super-powered Monica Rambeau, who she first played earlier this year in WandaVision. Her character has had a long list of hero codenames in the source material, including Captain Marvel and Photon.

Iman Vellani is also set to appear alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris as Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. According to a photo leaked from the set of The Marvels, Vellani will be sporting a much fancier get-up than the one we’ll see in the upcoming Disney+ Ms. Marvel series. Her new outfit includes a lot more gold trim, and is much closer in design to Captain Marvel’s costume — which makes sense because Khan, in part, becomes a hero after being inspired by Carol Danvers’ example. You can see the photo below.

While Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson will both be reprising their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles for The Marvels, there is one noteworthy absence in the cast list for the upcoming sequel. Ben Mendelsohn — who played the Skrull leader Talos in Captain Marvel and reprised the role for 2019’s Spider-Man: Far from Home — is not one of the actors confirmed for The Marvels. He will be appearing along with Jackson in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, however, which could give fans pause. It could suggest Talos won’t survive Secret Invasion, though it could also mean he’ll be in The Marvels, but in disguise.
